5 Awesome Things To Do In Melbourne This Week

By Melanie Host - 01 May 2017

Congrats, Listers, we’ve made it to the month of May! From the famous wonders of the world to the age-old classic blockbuster, Star Wars, this week’s all about celebrating the oldies and the goodies. Don’t go all doomy gloomy Darth Vader on us: the new month brings with it a fresh start, so let go of last month's woes. April showers bring May flowers and all that jazz.

Here are 5 awesome things to do in Melbourne this week.

Come face-to-face with LEGO® versions of international landmarks like the Empire State Building, Great Wall of China, Big Ben, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and more, right here in Melbourne! Thanks to Ryan 'The Brickman' McNaught and his team, visitors will embark on a fully interactive, educational journey through history with over 50 awe-inspiring models on display (which are more detailed than anything they’ve created + they took nearly 5,000 hours to build all of it). That effort. *applauds*

Coffee lovers—this is the masterclass of your brewtiful dreams. Our favourite shopping centre, Northland, are hosting their third Cultural Food Academy with a delectable caffeniated theme. Teaming up with St Ali,  learn how to make the perfect Espresso Martini (…and make it every Friday night), master the art of latte art  (...and attempt it on your latte every Saturday morning) and take home a goodie bag. Each masterclass is hosted by St Ali Head Barista Leon Holdsworth, who will walk you through a bean to cup experience and demonstrate how to expertly taste coffee. Let's just say it was meant to bean. Book your tickets here.
