Ah Coronavirus, will your tentacles never stop messing with our planned events? Fear not, while originally planned for March, the Auckland Food Truck Collective has announced that the festival will now take place on Sunday 25 April. As it's happening on Anzac Day, the festival will be working with the RSA on a poppy appeal for this important rememberance day.

Following the runaway success of past events, Auckland will host the second Vegan Food Festival at Corban Estate Arts Centre. Yup, it's a fully vegan food festival so our plant-based pals can take a break from modifying their food orders to cater to their lifestyle. Auckland is constantly pushing the boundaries when it comes to vegan cuisine and this festival will showcase nothing but the best.

Expect over 100 food stalls and vendors where you'll be loading up on vegan dumplings from The Rolling Pin, epic meatless burgers by Wise Boy Burgers, delicious bites from Vege Bang Bang and Sweet As Bowl just to name a few. In addition to the trucks expect pop up vegan food stalls slinging pies and organic goodness plus sweet treats from Lalele Organic Gelato, Lulu Ice Cream and Kookie Haus.

To make this day even better, The Vegan Food Festival will also host live entertainment, eco stalls, yoga classes, a mindfulness workshop, inspirational talks and demos and even a free tie dye workshop. Carnivore, omnivore or herbivore, this foodie festival is not to be missed by anyone so be sure to get amongst their tickets online or for those who like to leave things free and easy, $10 on the door with kids under 12 free. We'll see you there.
