By Fran Walker - 21 Dec 2017

OMG guys the end is near. Most of us only have a couple of days of work left (soz to everyone who works in retail) and this weekend, we all deserve to blow off a bit of steam before sitting down to Christmas lunch with the fam on Monday. Whether you plan on welcoming Christmas with a raging hangover or would prefer to hit up some festive movies or carols, we've found something for you.

Here are 9 super fun things to do in Perth this weekend.

All Weekend

Christmas On Rottnest Island

Having a white Christmas is probably on most of our bucket lists, but being able to spend Christmas lying in the sun with family and friends ain’t so bad either. Plus, Santa will be hanging out in the Settlement and North Thomson from tomorrow morning until Christmas eve, so hunt him down and say hello. Buy your ferry tickets here and spend your Christmas weekend building sandcastles and snorkelling with Santa.

Friday 22 December

Voyces Christmas Concert At St Joseph’s Subiaco

Returning for their annual Christmas concert, the Voyces choir will be joined by a brass quintet and guest Jonathan Bradley and they’ll be singing carols old and new.  The concert starts at 7:30pm and is the perfect way to start off your Christmas weekend. Get your tickets here.

The Dock Launch In Fremantle

Yasss, Fremantle’s first ever pop-up wharf bar is coming and we cannot contain our excitement. There will be a full pop-up bar, along with plenty of eats overlooking Fremantle’s iconic port. The Dock will be fully themed to match its location (cute) and there will be live music and DJs galore. Let's just say this is definitely a must over the holidays. Get more info here.

Saturday 23 December

Heathridge Carols In The Park

Get out of Grinch mode and gather your pals for a chill night before the festivities begin. Christmas carols, fireworks, Santa and loads of food. Plus, if you happen to have kidlets, there will be face painting and rides to keep them entertained. Win. For more info click here.

The Man Who Invented Christmas At Moonlight Cinema

What better way to spend Christmas Eve-eve than watching a classic Christmas movie? The Man Who Invented Christmas will be playing at 8:00pm at Kings Parks Moonlight Cinema and it's the perfect way to get in the spirit. Get your tickets here before they all run out. You know you want to.

Sunday 24 December

Christmas Eve At Market Grounds

Delicious cocktails, cold beer and good food is all you need for an epic Christmas eve. There will be live DJ’s in the beer garden from 3pm so get there early. Table bookings are recommended so get in quick! Book your table here.

Xmas Eve At The Left Bank

Christmas Eve at the Left Bank just gets better and better, doesn't it? Once again, they have managed to outdo themselves with a killer line up featuring the likes of SHOCKONE, Hook n Sling, Wildflower and more. Yeah, yeah we know that this event sold out in about 0.000003 seconds BUT no need to cry as there will be door sales from 12pm! Click here for more info.

Christmas Eve At The Dock

If you can't make it to their launch on Friday, do not miss Christmas Eve at The Dock. There will be plenty of beers, cocktails and wine on tap plus live music and epic eats. Oh, and di we mention it's free? Find out more info here.

Super Sunday Sunset Session At The Deck At KU DE TA

BBQ, beats, drinks and good vibes—sounds like a pretty good Christmas Eve to us. There will be family friendly activities from 12-4pm and after that, the party will really start so you can spend Christmas Eve on the river! Get more info here.
