The 16th Inaugural Chaser Lecture
Whether you’re a lover or a hater of The Chaser, you’ve got to admit, they’re pretty bad-ass. So expect to walk the line between hilarity and inappropriateness at their 16th Inaugural Chaser Lecture. Delivered this Monday by Bassem Youssef, dubbed “the Jon Stewart of the Arab World,” be prepared to laugh your pants off at what’ll be one of the most stimulating after-dinner conversations you’ll have this month. Attendees have the option of sitting in the gallery or scoring themselves a gala dinner seat and all the proceeds will go to Article 19, a global human rights charity that fights for the freedom of expression for all.

Woodford Reserve whisky tasting
Don Draper, eat your heart out. Woodford Reserve are going on tour this Monday, offering up a free whisky masterclass at Grain Bar to help you become one master of malt. Hosted by their Master Distiller, Chris Morris, participants will learn the ins and outs of the whisky making process, how to craft their signature mint julep cocktail as well as how to detect the 200 flavour notes in their whisky brew. Wholefood Night Market at The Grounds
If you get a kick out of kale, can’t begin your day without a cold-pressed juice or are curious about quinoa well then this Wednesday, The Grounds is where you’re going to want to be. Health food subscription box, GoodnessMe Box, will be hosting Australia’s first wholefood night market. The who’s who of health and wellbeing will be assembling on the night, with plenty of produce, wellness talks and cooking demos for you to take in. Free Lunch with Soul Origin
If you find yourself lost and hungry around the CBD, Soul Origin is giving away up to 3,000 meals this Thursday at Martin Place. All you have to do is take a snap of their giant edible billboard made out of fresh fruit and veggies and upload it to Instagram to score yourself a free lunch. And because it’s by Soul Origin you know it’s going to be a mighty tasty lunch as well as being free. Good for the soul and for the wallet, it just makes the lead up to payday that much sweeter.

Dim Sum Pop-up Bar by Eric Koh
It’s no secret that Sydney is a little dumpling-obsessed, and with Eric Koh’s Dim Sum pop-up egging our fixation on its no wonder why. We’ve just been informed that this pop-up will be gracing us with its presence until the end of December now (yay!), so you have more time to get your dumpling on. Using only the finest ingredients, pinch your chopsticks around these little parcels of heaven before Eric has his hands full with the relaunch of Enmore’s Queen Victoria Hotel later this year. Serving up dim sums of both the steamed and fried variety alongside a selection of delectable cocktails, wines and beers, it’s your next dumpling date sorted.
