March Brisbane market madness is here, and as usual, we are rounding up the best of the best stalls, the must do markets, the can't miss food, and gotta have it… you get the idea. Read on to get your market on. 

Food / Produce Markets

Autumn on James

From 14th to 16th of March, James Street will come alive with the sights and flavours of the country for Autumn on James. 12 producers from Southern Queensland country, cooking demonstrations involving some James Streets coolest eateries (plus MasterChef Australia winner Adam Liaw), a dedicated market day on Saturday the 15th and a handful of 'farm gate' stalls (complete with honesty boxes) will help turn the cosmopolitan James Street hub in to a lovely country lane full of markety goodness.

Boundary Street Markets
These brand new markets, housed in the old Peter's Ice Cream Factory (or the Absoe site as it's now known), is a TUL fave. This Saturday and Sunday market has a plethora of goodies just waiting to be snapped up by discerning marketeers. Check them out.

Jan Power's Farmers Market
With four bangin' sites around the city, Jan Power's Farmers Markets are the place to get your weekly fruit and veg' as well as excellent deli and pantry products. 

Where: Reddacliff Place | Queen Street in Brisbane CBD
When: Every Wednesday 10:00am - 6:00pm

Kelvin Grove Village Markets
A favourite among the student contingent, the KGVM are perfect for all your foodie supply needs. Once you've stocked the pantry, why not peruse the clothing stalls for some cute wardrobe additions. It's only fair to follow chores with fun right?

Eagle Farm Markets
Sunday's made so much better simply by the fact that Eagle Farm Markets is on. Grab your fruit, veg' plus super fresh meats and breads from the great stalls operated by local and regional producers before perusing the fashion and lifestyle offerings.

Moggill Markets
Right in the heart of one of our new favourite suburbs, Brookfield, the Moggill Markets are a great way to while a way a sunny Saturday with great food and delicious coffee.

Where: Brookfield State School | Boscombe Road in Brookfield
When: First and third Saturday of every month 6:30am - 11:00am

Northey Street City Farm Organic Market
A favourite of the early bird, the Northey Street City Farm Organic Market stocks great organic fruit and veg, gardening supplies, plus so much more. Set in a lush spot just off Lutwyche Road, this one is for the die-hard market fan.

Davies Park Market (West End Market)
This is definitely a must do on the Brisbane market scene. Great food, cool fashion, and lifestyle finds are all waiting to be plundered every Saturday.

Boggo Road Markets
The little precinct surrounding the old Boggo Road jail springs to life every Sunday with a great selection of stalls bursting with fresh fruit and veg', ready to eat food (langos and dumplings are perfect morning-after-Saturday-night breakfast options). Grab a cup of coffee and sit on the lawn while listening to the live band.

Produce By The Pier
Cheese, meats, bread, fruit and vegetables, and wine are all available at this great market by the sea. Head down early to stock up on some excellent produce.

Northside Lifestyle Markets
Northsiders listen up! If you don't already know about this great market kicking it on the Northside, then you better add it to your market itinerary, pronto. All the usual offerings to be expected from markets plus ready-to-eat food, coffee and entertainment.

Night Markets

Eat Street Markets
The Eat Street Markets are so hot right now, every man and his puppy is likely to be stuffing their face down on the foreshore every Friday and Saturday night. Food isn't the only offering though; grab a cocktail and explore the stalls full of art, clothing, jewellery and homewares.

Love Your Local Twilight Markets
We love all things local and so do the Love Your Local Twilight Markets. Full of all the usual market finds, your shopping basket (and belly) will be very satisfied.

When: First Friday of every month 4:00pm - 8:30pm

Suitcase Rummage
Find a hidden treasure amongst the piles of vintage popping up at the Suitcase Rummage. Perfect for unusual, hard-to-find items to add to your wardrobe, or to give as gifts.

Brisbane Valley Markets
This stalwart of the Brisbane market scene is great for fashion, jewellery, and for finding vintage music to add to the record collection. On every Saturday and Sunday.

Young Designers Market
Homewares, fashion and jewellery. If it involves talented young designers then you'll find it at the Young Designers Market. Pick up a gift for friends or something to add your home décor collection.

South Bank Collective Market
Great bargains to be had on art, photography, designer fashion and accessories, homewares, jewellery, pop-up shops, vintage and recycled fashion, and collectables, right in the heart of the ever-popular South Bank precinct.

Brisbane Flower Market
