Hopster, on Caxton Street, answers all your craft beer and epic eats prayers. With a roster of boutique craft beers, a puntastic cocktail menu (Gini Hendrinks anyone?) and a bevy of epic events on rotation (cards against humanity night anyone?) we can't get enough of this spot. Oh, and there's mars bar vodka. There are rumours of a cocktail at Hopster that contains an entire fried chicken as a garnish FYI. If the punny menu and epic beers don't have you falling in love already, wait til you see their out of this world burgers. Don't forget to enter their Reaper wings-challenge either, it's a 2,000,000 on the Scolville scale (dat hot!). For $15 you get a dozen wings and a schooner of Fred IPA, if you finish them in 5 minutes you get a big ol' prize and a picture on their wall of fame.
The Milton Markets
The Red Hill Markets have found a new home as the Milton Markets on Cribb street. Get set for their launch on April 17th 2017 where you can expect to find South East Queensland's and Northern New South Wales' freshest produce. We can't wait for the gourmet food stalls, traditional foods and market provisions we loved at the Red Hill Markets to finally be back in our lives again. The markets will kick back into the swing of things every Sunday from 6am to 12pm.

Southside Bistro has just opened up in Sunnybank. Their menu is pretty awesome with chip offerings of Wagyu-fat roasted french fries (...yum) and chickpea-battered sweet potato chips. Check out their all day tapas too, you won't be disappointed.

Comuna Cantina will open its doors in March serving up the most delicious Latin street food. Think fresh, authentic, tasty street morsels like grilled sweet corn, pincho barbeque skewers and refreshing frozen margaritas. We can't wait til they open so we can chow down on their TDF tacos every other day!
Seven South, Yeronga
Newly-opened Seven South in Yeronga boasts head chef Sam Potter, who trained under Phillip Johnston of Ecco. The next level menu include highlights such as lemon thyme, blueberry and ricotta hotcakes, grilled pork and fennel sausages, porcini sformato with shiraz reduction, smoked salmon fishcakes and smokey bourbon and maple glazed beef ribs. Yum. Looks like we'll be on the southside more often. Bonus? They're dog friendly!
