Auckland Meatstock 2019

If you’re a fan of music and barbecue, then Meatstock is the festival you’ve been waiting for.

Meatstock is a two-day music and barbecue festival that started in Sydney but spread its basted barbecued wings to Auckland a few years ago. Back for its fourth installment and held at the ASB Showgrounds over the weekend of the 15-16 February, the protein-filled event promises to serve up the best of the best bands and barbecues, butchers, bourbon and beer. This year’s headliner is the legendary roots rockers, Katchafire, who are sure to get the crowd pumping.

You’ll get a chance to witness the intense barbecue, butcher and barber wars, which will see the city’s best take the crown, as well as learn the meaty tricks of the trade in demonstrations and workshops.

If eating barbecue rather than making it is more your thing, a tribe of barbecue-inspired food trucks will be there to keep your belly full and happy. And, since Meatstock is set to take place at such a sizzling hot time, they have craft beer from Liberty Brewing to help you stay hydrated.

Sound pretty damn awesome? Thought so. Pick up your tickets as this promises to be yet another sell out this year.
