Is there any better way to embrace the colder days than with shed loads of cheese? We think not. This winter, we’re in luck, as Le Chef brings us the perfect solution on Bastille Day—France’s national day.
Let’s face it, we all miss the thrill of international travel. But what better way to bring Europe to New Zealand than with a cheesy celebration that’s sure to take your palette and mind straight to the streets of France. On this special night, share your table with fellow cheese-lovers, or book your own, as Le Chef serves up some warm, cheesy Raclette on the streets of Vulcan Lane.
For the uninitiated, Raclette is a Swiss dish, also popular in Savoie, France, based on heating cheese and scraping off the melted part. We’re pretty sure you’ve seen those videos of cheese oozing off the massive cheese wheel, and into some delicious dishes. That’s what Raclette is, an interesting take on the cheese fondue.
Here’s what you can expect from the night. 200g of raclette cheese (basically, a buttload), 150g of French charcuterie, salad and potatoes, along with a glass of wine on arrival, all for $98 per person, or at a 10% discount for a full table of up to 12 people. It doesn’t get feta than this!
Better bring your appetite, and get your cheese on. Book your tickets HERE.
