A fresh new menu has dropped at Pita Pit and it is as wholesome as it is tasty. The App To Save The Planet (And Your Wallet)
Food waste is a massive problem today, with New Zealand cafes, restaurants and supermarkets producing 50,000 tonnes a year. Foodprint is a new app that connects users to eateries and food retailers with surplus food. You can explore the available food from eateries and purchase it for a discounted price, keeping quality food out of landfills and keeping you fed for a low cost. Coffee Cups Are Out, Again Again Is In
New Zealand sends 295 million coffee cups to landfills every year and the team at Again Again are on a mission to reduce that number. The idea is simple, at any of the Auckland cafes joining in, pay a refundable $3 deposit to ‘check out’ a cup. Then, continue to return and re-checkout a cup each time you purchase a coffee or return the cup and get your $3 back. It is oh-so-easy and oh-so-brilliant.
Miss Clawdy's New Menu Is Epic
Wynyard Quarter’s Miss Clawdy’s new menu has a Southern American vibe and makes for the ultimate winter feast. Featured is the Jamaican jerk chicken marinated in 20 herbs and spices and served on maque choux as well as the buttermilk fried oysters with pickled okra, black garlic aioli and Cajun cocktail sauce.
