It’s time to say hello, gidday, kei te pēhea koe? Say whaaat? Yep, Mediaworks has delivered their final two contestants for this year’s Dancing With The Stars and all our childhood dreams have come true.
The ever-popular Suzy Cato has been named as one of the contestants alongside the not-so ever-popular Naz. The pair are like yin and yang, giving us all the feels. Suzy is sure to win allll the hearts because—let’s face it—New Zealand has grown up with her big smile and sing-song voice.
“I’m in this for the challenge, the excitement, the music, the dancing, the dresses and my charity!” exclaims Suzy. Nawwww.
Naz Khanjani starred in season two of The Bachelor and, whether by production or choice, she was cast as the villain. And, who can forget her attacks and swearing at the audience during the tell-all session after the show and the tearful apology? Not us. Since then, she’s built up a whopping 101K following on Instagram, with a feed of selfies and messages of self love. She also went to battle (literally) against Bella Henry and continues to make news with various escapades.
Of her her signature move, she says: “anything involving a hair flip really! I love my long, black hair!”
Let’s just say, we know where alllll the drama from this year’s DWTS will come from.
The pair join Real Housewife Gilda Kirkpatrick, politicians David Seymour and Marama Fox, broadcasters Samantha Hayes, Roger Farrelly and Robert Rakete, ex Bachelor Zac Franich, actor Shavaughn Ruakere, social media influencer, model and cancer survivor Jess Quinn and finally cricketer Chris Harris on the show.
