Meet Dirty Laundry, Auckland’s latest new bar and eatery that’s shaking up the foodie scene.

The latest from Good Group—the team behind White + Wongs and Botswana Butchery—can be found on Quay Street. Unleashing their flare for the delicious in full force and inspired by Good Group’s Al Spary’s visit to an eatery in Aspen, the fit-out features nods to American culture and quirky art throughout.

Dirty Laundry's eclectic menu invites you to get down and dirty with a selection of nibbles, small and large plates, salads and dessert. Serving premium quality fare in a relaxed setting, it has a little something for everyone.

Our top pick is the BBQ pork ribs. Smokey, tangy and tender, tucking into the ribs will have your tastebuds buzzing with the delicious marinade. Served with barbecue sauce and slaw, they’re worth getting messy for.

While you’re at it, give the lamb tartare a try. Think rye bread smothered with buffalo cheese loaded with lamb, piccalilli and dill. Tangy and refreshing, it’s a must.

If tartar doesn’t tickle your fancy, opt for the crispy chicken. While dark golden and irresistibly crunchy, the house-made ranch dressing and chilli jam really steals the show. The duo will have you asking why you’ve never had chicken like it before.

More into your surf than turf? Then the lobster roll is for you. Served in a brioche roll with watercress and doused in cocktail sauce, this is one dish that belongs on every foodie's bucket list. Better yet, it comes with a mountain of truffle parmesan fries.

Dirty Laundry’s fish tacos mean serious business. The generous three-taco serving keeps things simple, with battered fish, avocado, sour cream and chilli. We recommend pairing with the heirloom tomatoes, tossed with buffalo cheese and pine nuts on slaw.

The cocktail creations are certainly worth a mention too. The Ciao Bella is a vibe—made with 1800 Anejo, Chambord, Limoncello, lemon juice, raspberry puree and egg white—or, if you're after something a little tropical, try the dirty navy, which features Gosling black seal, Havana Club Anejo, passionfruit puree, honey syrup, pineapple and orange juice. No matter what you pick, you'll find yourself quickly going for round two.

So what are you waiting for? Round up the gang and head on down to Dirty Laundry for the feast of your lives.
