Hold onto your fascinator because New Zealand’s largest runway is coming to Auckland next month and it is going to blow. Your. Mind.
Think runways are only about fashion? Banish the thought! This event brings fashion and food together in an event like none other. Five of Auckland’s top restaurants have come together with Dame Trelise Cooper to celebrate the Melbourne Cup.
The runway, which will be a whopping 400-metres long will loop through Huami, Gusto at the Grand, MASU by Nic Watt, The Grill by Sean Connolly and The Sugar Club showcasing the 2018 Spring-Summer 2018 collections from Trelise Cooper and Cooper.
“Flemington is all about high fashion and fine food and Fashion on Federal brings the very best of both together, and to be partnering with an icon like Trelise Cooper certainly reflects this,” says Lizzie Leuchars, SKYCITY Corporate Events Manager.
Naturally, you’ll be encouraged to dress to impress, with awards for the Best Dressed—judged by none other than the Dame herself—from each restaurant. And, if that happens to be you, you lucky thing, you’ll win a night’s stay at the SKYCITY Grand Hotel. From those five winners, an overall winner will be chosen, who will be upgraded to the Presidential Suite. Oo la la!
Tickets are sure to sell out fast, so grab your peeps and book asap!
