Let’s be real, it’s not a Kiwi summer without a beersie or two. Lucky for us, an epic new pop-up is set to bring a taste of awesome to Auckland.
Boutique bogan Wellington brewery Panhead has hit the foodie capital of New Zealand. Opening up a garage of greatness, these new digs are sure to drive beer-lovers wild.
Fitted with pinball machines, a pool table, dart boards and a supercharged V8-themed 14 tap beer system, it’s the adult arcade we didn’t know we needed! Pouring the classics, you won’t want to miss a chance to try out special releases, including Batch 003, a milk IPA with lactose from actual cows. With exclusive one-offs rotating regularly, these bad boys are designed to open people’s minds to what beer can be.
In addition to a wicked beer-cocktail list, there’s also a food menu of “American pig-out food’ crafted to perfectly pair with their brews. Think jalapeño poppers, American chilli dog, fat burger, Texas smoked brisket, and slow-cooked chilli–go on, give your summer bod the treat it deserves.
Here for a good time, not a long time, this gem will only be around for the summer, so get in quick for a taste of Auckland’s whacky, wonderful and marvelous new pop-up, Panhead Viaduct.
