Drop Everything, An Epic Vegan Festival Is Hitting The Mount This October

Get amongst some serious plant-based goodness later this month at Vegan Vibes, a one-day festival hitting Mt Maunganui's Soper Reserve on Saturday 24 October (sounds like a great excuse for a roadie—whaddaya reckon, Auckland peeps?).

However you certainly don't have to be vegan to appreciate this epic event, which is actually in its fifth year and will be serving up all the very best things that the vegan lifestyle has to offer, from food to fashion and everything in between.

If you're anything like us, you'll be making a beeline straight for the food—which really just goes to show how far vegan cuisine has come. You'll find us stuffing our faces with sweet treats from Real Rad Food—bad ass burgers from VTP Eats—next level cookies from Kookie Haus—seriously good Vietnamese from Rice Rice Baby—and beautiful bakes from Charlie Mia to name a few.

There'll also be plenty of other things to keep you entertained on the day, including an epic line-up of speakers such as Megan May (of Little Bird fame)—live music—and some sweet workshops on subjects like pottery. Oh, and that's not to mention the slew of non-food vendors selling goodies in the form of jewellery, homewares and fashion.

So whether you're a herbivore, carnivore, omnivore—or not entirely sure—this is one event you definitely don't want to miss.
