It’s not all about London, Paris, Milan and New York, you know. With 4 Days of Fashion on its way, Auckland is set to prove exactly why we are still one of the most style-savvy destinations ever!

The annual event is back and bringing an even bigger and better lineup of events, runways, installations and more fashion fun than you can shake your Gucci loafers at, it’s fair to say we’re pretty damn excited.

With more than 25 events on this ever-so-chic calendar, expect to find non-stop excitement cropping up all over the city. From Queen Street to High Street, to Britomart and Wynyard Quarter, it’s all happening!

Walk The Walk | A History Of Fashion In The City

The New Zealand Fashion Museum have teamed up with Auckland Council to bring a stellar and remarkable lineup of events for this year’s 4 Days of Fashion. Delving deep into the archives, and showcasing the fascinating story of Auckland’s style scene, visitors can learn just where our flair for fashion truly came from. Take part in one of the free and fashion-filled historic guided walking tours around the city, visit the special exhibition where stories and secrets are uncovered and make sure you venture to Elliott Street for the catwalk finale!

Kate Sylvester, Zambesi and World Fashion Show

Forget the Three Musketeers and Destiny’s Child—there’s no more iconic trio than that of Auckland fashion icons Kate Sylvester, Zambesi and World! Back for their annual runway extravaganza, these three style gurus will be showcasing their current collections in one exceptional marque along Tyler Street! With beauty experts M.A.C and Ryder on hand to create show-stopping looks, this is one style-savvy and beauty bonanza you need to see!

MAALA At Topshop/Topman

Recently bagging himself a Tui award for best solo male artist and continuing to sell out shows to adoring fans and creating one heck of a catchy and internationally acclaimed album, MAALA is doing a good job at putting the rest of us twenty-somethings to shame! All is forgiven as this incredible artist has teamed up with Queen Street’s favourite brand, Topshop/ Topman for an intimate concert from the man himself and an evening of discounted fashion, food, drink and a whole heap of fun!

With her designs and garments gracing the pages of international magazines such as Vogue and Marie Claire, Kiwi born Trelise Cooper is truly taking the fashion world by storm. Her runway show at this year’s 4 Days of Fashion is set to be no different, either. This grand scale open air show will take place across Takutai Square and feature her current collection in a dynamic, different and never before seen style. Guests are set to become part of the action for an unmissable and utterly glamorous event!

RUBY Jelly Bar

As if the entire female population wasn’t already hopelessly and utterly obsessed with all things RUBY, they’ve only gone and found another way to make us drop everything and rush into their gorgeous High Street boutique. For one evening only, and bringing two of our favourite things together in one room (food and fashion!), visitors can indulge in wobbly desserts inspired by RUBY’s latest Autumn/Winter collection and created by renowned Jelly expert, The Jellyioligist. We’ve also heard that Ruby designer Deanna Didovich will be there too, so trust us when we say you won’t want to be fashionably late to this one!

An Evening With Barkers

Don’t be alarmed to see models strutting their stuff down O’Connell Street, they are meant to be there and so are you! Local and much-loved designer Ingrid Starnes will be taking to the streets with her runway show in tow as part of this year’s 4 Days of Fashion. Bound to look drop dead gorgeous in her highly anticipated The Lost Pink Valley collection, the models will take to this popular CBD street for a fashion show like never before. Oh, and did we mention this entire presentation extraordinaire is free to all?
