As the Olympics come to a close, it's time to slowly and regretfully pack away our athletics unitards and Aussie flags. If you're into art, wine, fitness or even nude yoga (don't fight it), this weekend looks to be a ripper.

Friday 19 August


Pro surfer Sally Fitzgibbons is in town and will be passing on her wisdom to us all by holding a free fitness class down at Lizzie Quay tomorrow morning. Grab a free fitball and get your fitness on! Don’t forget to register.

If you haven’t heard already, the guys down at Movement Co are holding a 90 minute workout session every Saturday for the month of August in support of the Rachael Doherty Foundation. The class will focus on strength, conditioning, calisthenics, gymnastics and handstands and will be crazy fun. The class is free but attendees are encouraged to make a donation. Great work guys!

After a third consecutive sold out Fringe World show, Menagerie is back with ‘Menagerie’s Winter Warmer: Women Who (Indie) Rock’. If you have no idea what we’re talking about, these guys are Perth’s best indi choir. They sing covers of rock songs and they’re amazing. Head down this Sunday to finish off your weekend in style.
