Don’t let the simple tables and plastic bowls put you off, Anna Vietnamese is a much-loved Leederville institution. Serving a huge range of delicious Vietnamese food that is always served quickly (which is all you really want when you’re hungry!), Anna’s is BYO and perfect for group dinners. The decor at this Perth Vietnamese restaurant may be a little old-school but the food is top notch AND won’t break the bank.

For an epic food challenge which rivals what you’ve seen on Man v. Food head to Perth burger joint, Novembars Cafe in Dianella. Serving up Perth’s hottest and biggest burgers, Novembars Cafe have two burger eating challenges, the chilli-hot Red Face Runny Nose (which has reportedly hospitalised two diners) and the Fat Boy Burger (which goes up in price the longer you take to eat it). There’s also a $1000 burger on the menu which features a whopping 101 beef patties, 100 slices of bacon and two T-bone steaks.

Soda Cafe got a facelift and is now looking better than ever as North Beach Deli! The winning breakfasts, lunches and dinners (as well as the stunning views) are still going strong, but they’ve also expanded into a deli with take-home charcuterie, cheese, house-baked bread, salads and ready-to-go meals. Churros have been spotted on the brekky menu and some old classics have stuck around for lunch. Pop down for an early breakfast or a late lunch and perhaps a cheeky drink or two.
