This corner café has built itself a solid reputation, so get in early to avoid the wait. Once seated, the breakfast and lunch menu features all the classics, but we highly recommend the steak sandwich and zucchini fritters. Open 7:30am till 3pm.
Café Shenkin
Serving up trademark Middle Eastern delicacies including cheese and spinach burekas, hummus plates and falafel wraps, as well as specialty espresso, it's no wonder Café Shenkin is constantly bustling with hungry patrons. Open from 6:30am till 5pm this is a must-try destination on your ANZAC Day off.
Devon Café
Situated at the lower end of Surry Hills, Devon Café is a great spot to refuel after the ANZAC Day dawn service, with its specialties such as 65-degree egg and citrus-cured salmon. Coffee is brewed to perfection courtesy of Five Senses. Open 6:30am till 4:30pm.
Three Blue Ducks
With an emphasis on fresh produce, Three Blue Ducks has become a Bronte institution. Choose from scrambled eggs with black sausage, delicious bircher or vibrant salads at lunch. Thankfully this beachside powerhouse café is open on ANZAC Day in Sydney from 7am till 3:30pm.

Cooh Café & Roaster
For a quick breakfast Northside step into the newly opened Cooh Café & Roaster in Curl Curl where beans are roasted onsite and blends are constantly changing. The team will be opening its doors to dish up bacon and egg rolls with its signature coffee from 7am-4pm. One of Sydney's best new cafes and open on ANZAC Day - brilliant.

Tucked away in the suburban Inner West, Excelsior Jones is certainly worth a visit this Friday. The menu offerings include scrumptious salads, roasted pork sandwiches, delicious hot cakes, and its famed sugar-laden cronuts. 8am-4pm (kitchen closes at 3pm).
