With only the best fish delivered fresh daily and hand cut by Misuzu’s chefs who ooze confidence, this Albert Park restaurant serves up some of the best Japanese in Melbourne. We’d recommend trying a bit of everything at this chic Izakaya. Don’t forget the sake either (there are 40 to choose from).

Currently located in Fitzroy, The Voodoo Jerk Truck serves up some of the most delicious Jamaican food in Melbourne from its back-alley kitchen. Twinned with Pixel Alley, the truck itself is hidden from the main strip of Smith Street, making it an awesome foodie hidden treasure to take your mates to. As for the must-try? Jerk chicken every time!

Jamaican restaurant Bickle serves everything you would expect to find at one of the island's top kitchens. Buttermilk jerk fried chicken, tasty jerk ribs, salt fish and ackee, curried goat with rice and peas...the list is endless! The Bickle vibe is relaxed, and you can expect to be sipping on Caribbean style coconut cocktails or an ice-cold Red Stripe. An awesome hidden gem that shouldn't be missed.

Melbourne pizza restaurant Pizza Religion's Malvern venue is an awesome choice if you're looking for some of the best pizzas around! Specialising in delicious, traditional Italian-style pizzas that come loaded with everything from chorizo and braised beef cheek to butternut pumpkin and pine nuts, the menu includes something for everyone. A great spot for a slice of epic flavour.

Chatty Vespa, aka. our favourite place for pizza in Prahran, serves up deliciously light pizzas from its petite restaurant ant take-away kitchen. The ingredients are super-fresh and the flavour combos are epic...The perfect go-to whether you want a quick bite to eat or take-away pizza in Melbourne. Oh, and they do healthy pizzas too! Thornbury's go-to for delicious Italian food with a modern twist, Son Of A Pizzaiolo serves delicious foodie fare whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant is great for group get-togethers (we'd recommend giving them a call in advance) and serves up some cracking pizza specials. A real treat in the northern suburbs.

The Lounge is situated within the park Hyatt and enjoys views overlooking Trilogy Gardens. The Lounge offers an impressive high tea which includes handmade petit desserts, assorted finger sandwiches and house-baked scones with jam and cream. Served with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, espresso coffee or leaf tea, it’s a delightful afternoon out!
Mart130
Located at the Middle Park tram stop, Mart130 is one of Melbourne’s best cafes for a quiet brunch in cosy surrounds. Converted from the old stationmaster’s building, this Middle Park cafe is perfect for a quick cuppa or lunchtime meal. Most of Slowpoke’s produce is organic and locally sourced, so you can enjoy that second latte guilt-free.

Expect retro styling, industrial and reclaimed furniture, buttermilk chicken and a whole lot of hot sauce and sesoning from this new Brunswick East restaurant.
Carters Public House
Previously known as Carters Bar, Carters Public House is an awesome music, beer and food venue on Northcote's vibrant High Street. As well as serving up some delicious local and imported beers, ciders and wines, Carters does a great line in pub food too—think pulled pork rolls, onion rings and both beef and veggie burgers—and pulls a large crowd of locals, especially when there's a live band playing. A cracking small venue that you'll definitely be back to!
Estelle by Scott Pickett (ESP)
ESP, which stands for Estelle by Scott Pickett, is the latest addition to the Estelle family in Northcote.
