The menu, like the café itself, is small but hearty. We guarantee you’ll still struggle to choose just one item from Acustico’s options.
Albert Park Deli
Running since 1974, this particular deli has practically grown up with Melbourne’s much-loved Albert Park. Perhaps this explains their dedicated local (and non-local) following. Perhaps their daily rotating display of over 50 different home-style dishes is simply too hard to resist. Or perhaps its their outrageously long opening hours - from 5.30 am to past dinner. Either way, there’s plenty of love going around for this very special deli.

For honest food and high-quality, natural wines, there's one wine bar in Melbourne that we'd definitely recommend! Small Block cafe in East Brunswick is one of our favourite inner north hidden gems that has a cozy atmosphere, a killer menu and some of the best coffee in Melbourne. The dishes make the most of only the freshest ingredients, and the cafe's sidestreet outdoor seating area is the perfect sunspot. We'll be seeing you soon, Small Block—save us a seat!

If you're looking for a delicious brunch in Yarraville, look no further than Cornershop cafe—a beautiful breakfast spot that gives any CBD cafe a run for its money! The Old Bar in Fitzroy is a lengendary venue for live music in Melbourne that likes to keep it loud! The petite Johnston Street bar serves up beer, spirits and live music on a regular basis, and has a great courtyard—perfect for cooling down after a sweaty gig or chilling out wiht a pint in the fresh air. If you haven't spent a night in The Old Bar until closing (which is at 3am...ouch), you haven't lived.
Beach Burrito Company | Fitzroy
Recently opened on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy, Beach Burrito Company is unlike any other Mexican restaurant in Melbourne. Sure, they dish out some of the tastiest tacos, burritos and quesadillas in town (not to mention those killer margaritas—HEAVEN!) however the pièce de résistance is arguably the concrete skatebowl that takes pride of place on the restaurant floor. Yep, you read right Listers—you and your mates can not only feast on Melbourne's best Mexican, you can also grab your boards and go for a skate. Seriously, this has gotta be the most genius idea in, well, ever!
Pocket Cafe
Located on Melrose Street in North Melbourne, Pocket Cafe is responsible for some of the best cheap eats in Melbourne! The food here is delicious AND will leave you with change from a $10 note—think super filling and nutritious salads, soups, sandwiches, muffins and more. You'll need something to wash it down, of course, and for that we recommend the Allpress iced coffee...trust us, this North Melbourne cafe provides the ultimate caffeine hit!

Tucked away in a converted tool shed, Roller Door Cafe has quickly become one of our favourite cafes in Melbourne (well, West Melbourne to be precise!). Only top quality producers are used at this West Melbourne cafe—think Largo Butchers, Belmore Meats and Terra Madre—making this one of the best spots for delicious healthy eats in town!
Hortus x Seven Seeds
A truly unique concept, Hortus x Seven Seeds is a waterfront Docklands cafe fueled by a passion for local and sustainable produce. Named after the Latin word for garden, Hortus resembles a glass house and features an edible plant installation, which provides produce for the cafe's delicious breakfast and lunch menu. The coffee is also some of Melbourne's best, however what else do you expect from Seven Seeds? Definitely one of Melbourne's best cafes.

A warm and welcoming cafe on Lygon Street, North Carlton Canteen is our go-to when we're in need of delicious and nutritious brekkies and lunches. Everyone's welcome at North Carlton Canteen, or NCC for short, with dishes catering to the carnivores, the vegans, the gluten-free fiends and more. Our fave dish? The baked eggs really can't be beat. One bite and you'll see why!

Fitzroy florist Tribal Rose creates some of the most stunning bunches of blooms we've ever laid eyes on! Easey Street Smoke Out
Easey Street Smoke Out serves up some of the best American BBQ in Melbourne in a warehouse venue in the city's coolest suburb. Spearheaded by Ironbark artisan smokers (who are in the same building), the food is top rate (we're talking tender, juicy smoked meats that you'll be dreaming about for days) as well as a rotating drinks menu that means there's always something new to sip on. And if you need your motorbike tuned up while you're there (?!), motorcycle workshop Kustom Kommune is on-site too. Easey Street Smoke Out, we like your style.

Bistro K also has a fantastic Korean BBQ menu, and hosts corporate functions and parties for up to 50 people, making it the ideal spot for drinks and nibbles if you're entertaining a crowd. Yum!
The Milton
The Milton is a brand spankin' new wine bar in Elwood with an impressive list of local and international wines, along with a delicious tapas menu. The space is the perfect mix of cosy and cool, with ambient lighting, timber cladding and an open fire that screams 'PERFECT DATE NIGHT VENUE!'. In all seriousness though, order a bottle, shotgun a space near the fire or on one of the bench seats and get set for a night out at one of the best wine bars in Melbourne!
