Summer is practically officially over guys, but it seems like the mid-week social calendar will not be letting up anytime soon. There are sooooo many awesome things on this week in Perth that I’m actually kind of anxious about how to fit them all in.
So take your pick, here are 5 awesome things to do in Perth this week.
Monday 29 February
Comedy Trivia At The Rosemount
Everyone loves a good quiz night, but when it’s comedy trivia, well it’s hard to hold people back. Book a table for six or more peeps and you’ll get $50 to spend on the bar. Could this get any better? Yes. Nonna’s famous meatballs are cheap as chips on Mondays so go hungry! Get more info here.
Tuesday 1 – Saturday 5 March
Dawn French Thirty Million Minutes At PCEC
One of our fave funny ladies has written a show about her life and career and it’s gonna be hilarious! Off you go now.
Tuesday 1 March
Belinda Carlisle At The Astor Theatre
Belinda Carlisle (lead singer of The Go-Go’s, you’re welcome) is in Perth for one night only! She’ll be treating y’all to her solo tracks as well as hits form her Go-Go days. And Australia’s own 80s pop-electro band Pseudo Echo will be joining her. Thank god for 80s music. Get tickets here.
Wednesday 2 March & Thursday 3 March
TED 16 Dream Opening Night At Luna Leederville and Luna on SX
This is the first time the general public (that’s right, schmucks like you and me) will get to see the opening of the epic TED conference via the big screen. There will be a heap of amazing speakers but we’re most excited about Shonda Rhimes because…where would our lives be without Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal? Get tickets here.
Thursday 3 March
Avenue Q At The Phoenix Theatre
Sesame Street but for adults? Sold! With songs like “Everyone’s A Little Bit Racist” and a bit of puppet nudity, you’ll be crying with laughter. That laughing crying emoji was basically made for Avenue Q. Get tickets here.
