I hope you’re feeling a bit arty Perthlings, because there’s plenty of it in store for you this week.
We’ve got local talent galore, creative workshops and pop stars gracing our shores and if none of that floats your boat, there’s a retro games night which is sure to get everyone excited.
Here are five awesome things to do in Perth this week.
Monday 5 March
3rd Night Perth Screening At Luna Palace Cinemas
Wrapping your long weekend up with a horror flick is sure to make the work week look slightly more appealing, so head along to Luna tonight for the one and only Perth screening of 3rd Night. It was shot in Jarrahdale, so if you’re easily spooked and have plans to visit the area any time soon you might want to give this one a miss. If not, go and support some local talent!
Tuesday 6 March
Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop At Fox And Rabbit
This is the perfect activity after a tough Tuesday at work. All the materials are supplied so you don’t need to remember a thing, it’s held in the beautiful State Buildings, and you’ll walk out with a brand new piece of art to hang on your wall—one that YOU made! This class is for people with zero to average skills, so even if you think you’ll be rubbish, why not just give it a go?
Wednesday 7 March
Cecilia Brandolini At Fly By Night Club
What better way to spend hump day than in Freo listening to some (sort of) local talent. Cecilia spent her early childhood days in Perth but has been making waves over on the East Coast for the past few years with her incredible vocals and killer songwriting skills. She’s also a pro at the piano, stomp box and live looping—definitely one to watch! Plus, super talented musician, Tashi Hall will be there on drums!
Robbie Williams At Perth Arena
If you’re more into upbeat pop than soothing vocals, you’ll be pleased to know there are still a few tickets to Robbie Williams up for grabs! We can’t believe it either. Warm those vocal cords up and get ready for a bit of a singalong.
Thursday 8 March
Games Night At Pirate Bar
Whether you’re keen to play some retro computer games, good ol’ classic board games or something more modern, head to Pirate Bar this Thursday night and get into the competitive spirit at their games night. There will be competitions, drink specials and prizes up for grabs. Oh, did we mention happy hour is from 5:30—6:30pm, so don’t be late.
