When it comes to the Perth dining scene lately, it feels like there are not enough days in the week to get around to all the most beautiful spots. We've partnered with the legends at Now Book It to round up eight of our fabulous cult favourites with stunning views you need to book, stat.
Shorehouse
From sunrise lattes to late-night gins, Shorehouse offers beachfront sophistication in spades (pardon the beach pun). The yellow and white striped umbrellas on the deck against the azure ocean and white sand are straight off a postcard, and the menu is punchy with its all-day dining and constantly evolving chef's selection offerings taking the hard choices out of deciding what to pick. We can't get enough of their gin and tonic menu, particularly the 'Peachy Keen; with peach bitters, basil and Indian tonic—team one of these babies with their burrata on a balmy afternoon and you'll be in for a treat.

Odyssea City Beach
Another cult classic down our stunning coastline, Odyssea, is ideal for a post-beach swim but also surprisingly cosy in the depths of winter. Their laidback cruisy interiors are unassuming, with the quintessential beach shack soothing whites and blues, allowing City Beach's vista to be the masterpiece. Their menu is diverse and caters to all the family's needs with an emphasis on WA seafood - can we also recommend their kangaroo with jalapeno, coriander and mint for an unexpectedly zingy and delightful dish!

Bather's Beach House
It's surprising that with such an endless coastline here in WA there are so few bars where you can dip your toes directly into the sand. Tucked between the Roundhouse and the Boat Harbour, Bather's Beach House is a quintessential part of Freo's charm appealing to uni students and upscale diners. The superstars there have created an effortlessly fresh and sea-focused menu sourcing the best produce locally. You can't go past their Seafood Bathers Board—overflowing oysters, squid, barramundi, prawns and octopus. Delish.
Il Lido
Il Lido translates literally to 'the beach' in Italian, and sitting directly across from our spectacular Cottesloe Beach has sunset views that can't be rivalled. Whether it's a casual lunch catch up or special celebration, this espresso bar slash restaurant absorbs you into its relaxed, chilled beachside atmosphere whilst serving up simple, fresh modern-Italo fare teamed with an extensive wine list. Our recommendation: ask their expert waiters for their pick of the day on the ever-changing wine list.
Fraser's
There would be few people who have grown up in Perth without a few special occasions celebrated against the iconic Kings Park skyline at Fraser's. Its continuously high standard of service and stellar presentation of dishes has cemented its name into the best of the best. Whether it's for a cheeky Sunday morning coffee at the cafe or a momentous life event, the regularly-changing menu promises only the best local and seasonal produce on your plate. We're currently loving their tuna tataki & Atlantic salmon, and the slow-cooked pork shoulder—yum.
The Reveley
There's a lot of exciting movement around Elizabeth Quay, and there's no better place to admire with a negroni in hand on an afternoon than at The Reveley. Whether you're upstairs at Henry's Rooftop Bar for a beer with mates or sharing an intimate dinner with someone special down in the dining room, this space offers enormous versatility for any atmosphere you're after. We also love the constant string of themed dinners, events and high teas that their fabulous team offers, so we highly recommend following their socials to keep up to date.
Wildflower
Another one of Perth's most luxe fine-dining spots, Wildflower sits pretty above the Como Treasury Building, boasting sweeping views across the Swan River. The menu constantly evolves across the six Indigenous seasons celebrating the diversity of produce around our fine state, meaning that each time you visit, you'll have a completely unique experience. We recommend the six-course tasting menu, and if you're feeling fancy, add in the sommelier's matched wine pairing for an opulent evening.
Miss Chow's South Perth
Salty, sweet, sticky, and spicy are the words that first come to mind when we think of Miss Chow's. Their menu is a concoction of authentic Asian mixed with contemporary flavours to dazzle the taste buds of its visitors. The space offers an atmospheric, fun, high energy vibe with floor to ceiling views of the South Perth foreshore that will delight. It's torture to pick just a few things from the menu, but if we had to, we can't go past any of the pan-fried dumplings or the dried beef cheek curry. Be sure to finish off your feasting with Bailey's cheesecake for dessert. Heaven.
Amping to get a taste of the above for yourself? We hear you. From superb shore views to iconic skylines, it's never been easier to reserve your spot thanks to Now Book It.
