One of Perth’s most beautiful beachside burbs, Cottesloe brings much more to the table than pristine waters and white sandy shores. One of our favourite places to relax on the weekend (or any day we’re not in the office), Cottesloe is home to some of Perth’s best cafes and restaurants. It’s no surprise Cottesloe is bustling with locals and Perth peeps on any given day of the week.

Here are five of our favourite places for chilled out eats in Cottesloe.

Vans Cafe

Don your fanciest active wear and head to Vans Cafe on Napoleon Street for laidback tasty good times. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee, you’ll feel like you’re winning at life if you can bags a spot by the window for some top notch people watching while you sip on a whole young coconut and nibble on grilled corn, chargrilled organic Turkish bread and olives. It doesn’t get much better than this!

John Street Cafe

After a relaxing morning beach stroll, plop yourself down in a chair under the big pine trees out the front of John Street Cafe and take your chilled-out state to the next level. We quite like the homemade baked honey fruit and nut muesli with fruit salad and Greek yoghurt, but you can get all the usual breakfast suspects at John Street Cafe. Grab a coffee and breathe in that fresh ocean air.

Il Lido

Nothin’ like a hefty hit of carbs to take your chill to the max. Popular with the Cott crowd, Il Lido serve up all our favourite Italian goodies like coffee, wine, pasta, cheese and desserts. The potato gnocchi with roast tomato, basil and parmesan is a must have, and paired with a glass of vino you’ll be one blissed-out babe (or bro!)

Little SUP

Cott cafe Little SUP is your ultimate surfy hangout. This surfboard clad cafe is the perfect spot to drag your sandy feet in for a coffee after your morning surf. Choose from a selection of homemade pastries and muffins or delicious coffee made with a smile. Little SUP is open from 6am so ideal for all the early birds out there.

The Other Side Cafe

Just over the train tracks from all the beachy action of Cottesloe, The Other Side Cafe is an uber cool spot dishing out tasty breakfasts and lunches on the daily. This awesome little cafe whips up a mean smashed avo with chilli salt on toast and they also stock crumpets from our fave crumpet guy, Mr Drummond. Calm your caffeine addiction with a perfectly made cup of joe and chow down on a crumpet or two—chilled out perfection!
