The Glen shopping centre has just earned itself the city’s longest Sushi Train. Sushi Jiro delivers classic Japanese style sushi, packed with freshness and flavour, but their new spot has something a little different on offer (not just the train). Imagine a soft-serve station that provides an all you can eat dessert experience for just $10. Yep….these guys are doing that. Expect some juicy flavours like matcha, and over 30 toppings to choose from. What a perfect way to finish-off, after you’ve gorged on crowd favourites like their soft shell crab noritaco.

Although it’s clichè, this really is a match made in heaven. The legends at Deep End Pizza and Dingo Ate My Taco have joined forces to provide the goods, just in time for Cinco De Mayo. This one’s for the taco enthusiasts and pizza fanatics alike, a flavourful and succulent Birria Pizza. The thick yet airy base beautifully soaks up the meaty flavours of the birria, they’ve hit the nail on the head with this one, bringing depth and heat as you top it all off with a dip in their consommè. Yep… a pizza you can dip. Like all good things, this juicy collab is only available for a short time, available from the 5th of May at Deep End Pizza’s Fitzroy joint.

Piccolina and Rocco’s Deli have crafted a dangerously naughty Tiramisù gelato sandwich, a desert that blends tradition with a bit of fun. You can expect a fluffy savoiardi sponge soaked in coffee and marsala, a touch more marsala with the ganache, and a mascarpone gelato, coated in Belgian dark chocolate with a huge dusting of cocoa powder to finish.
