So, here we are again, staring right down the barrel of another lockdown. There are at least two weeks ahead of too much Playstation, too much Netflix and too much time with your housemates, family or significant other. But there ways to make the most of the downtime; instead of panic buying a week’s worth of sub-par pasta, why not support your local and order in.
It’s really a win-win situation here. You’ll be helping small business put their ingredients and produce to use that would otherwise go to waste, and your roomies won’t have to stomach another of your bolognese house special. Take a look at some of Melbourne’s favourite diners, restaurants and cafes doing takeaway and delivery during lockdown, and settle in for a feast fit for royalty.
We'll continue to update the list over the coming days, and we'll be sharing the love on Instagram, too. If we've missed your local, let us know at editormelb@theurbanlist.com and we’ll add them straight in.
