If you're looking to burn up to 1000 calories in a single workout, F45 in Northbridge is for you. F45 run high-intensity, functional interval training that’s team based and completed in 45 minutes. Coupled with a healthy diet, F45 is one of the fastest ways to tone up and get fit—it’s no easy feat but it’s not as scary as everyone makes out. There are 27 different modules (workouts) which are either resistance or cardio based, meaning you get a whole lot of variety in your workouts, leaving your muscles guessing each time you rock up to class. If the true essence of Italian is to do amazing things to simple ingredients, Wembley restaurant Monsterella is most certainly nailing it. Sitting pretty on the corner of Grantham and Jersey Streets in Wembley, Monstarella oozes rustic cool with its simple, stylish and classy interior. Pizza is the name of the game here, with handmade bases which are naturally risen for eight hours and 17 flavour combos to choose from. There are also a few pastas, antipasti and salad options on the menu—don't miss the arrosticini abruzzesse (traditional lamb skewers from the Abruzzo region in Italy), they're to die for!

Hippocampus has been hanging out in West Perth distilling their ahhh-mazing vodka and gin for a while, but luckily for the good people of Perth, they decided to use some of that extra space as a bar where you can go and taste said vodka and gin, sip on a cocktail or two, or enjoy a glass of wine.

Kuld Creamery

Using pure WA cream, organic milk and local free-range eggs, Kuld Creamery is scooping some delicious and unique flavours. Think matcha fresh mint chip, peach cobbler, Nutella and Maltesers, chai and even the sweet beet cone topped with chunks of fudgy beetroot brownie. The decor is seriously cool and flavours change weekly so you have a good excuse to pop in regularly.

The legends at Grounded Days in Swanbourne have been grinding hard (pun intended) to create an awesome gift store filled with goodies from local designers and suppliers. They are serving up awesome coffee and some of our fave eats from around Perth including Nudie Foodies raw treats, Delish icy poles and the famous Honeycake. You can also pick up gorgeous candles, succulents, pillows and more. So many excuses to pop by.

Becalmed Float

Next time you're in need of a little zen time, head to Becalmed Float in North Beach for a float. Jump into one of their floatation tanks which are filled with 500kg of Epsom salts dissolved in 1000L of water so that you float and feel totally weightless. Once the pod is closed you can turn off the lights so it's pitch black, completely quiet and distraction free. While it sounds kind of scary, owners Jo and Aaron will make you feel at ease before your first float and once your hour is up you'll be totally addicted. Not only is it a great form of meditation, it also helps with stress relief, insomnia, muscle healing, pain management and lots more!

We love Asian food and tapas so when we heard Miss Potz were combining the two we were freakin’ excited! Created by the head chef of Mr Munchies the menu features goodies like rendang sliders, sticky chicken wings, soft-shell crab papaya salad and tom yum mussels. Miss Potz is open for lunch Friday to Sunday and dinner Tuesday to Sunday—don’t forget to bring a bottle of wine, this bad boy is BYO!

This place is an interesting take on a traditional Dutch cafe. The crew here have got you covered when it comes to light yet creamy coffee and your usual avo smash on a sunday morning, but what really grabbed our attention was their nitro infused cold brew on tap, freshly made appleflaps and cold pressed juices. The simple, yet comforable interior will make you feel like you're ducking into a friend's house for a quick cuppa.

Light and bright Como cafe Little Matcha Girl celebrates all that is sweet and green. Serving perfect little cakes and patisserie delights as well as Blacklist Coffee Roasters brew, matcha lattes and a bunch of other Japanese teas. When they’re not creating the perfect cup of joe on their beautiful Kees Van Der Westen Mirage coffee machine, Little Matcha Girl are stocking up on loose leaf teas and ceremony and culinary matcha which you can take away with you to create your own matcha masterpiece.

This little cafe in Leederville is like a breath of fresh air—concrete floors and wooden interiors with a hint of industrial is just the right combo. The menu at Oxford Yard has just the right balance of brekky and lunch options, plus they're open on Friday nights for dinner as well! The big brekky and porridge are eternal faves, but it's the $5 eggs on toast every weekday from 7 to 10am that get us every time!

With a simple and delicious breakfast menu, Wembley locals love the Ingredient Tree on Herdsman Parade. They’ve got muesli, toast, croissants, pancakes and eggs any way you like them, as well as a tasty breakfast bagel and yummy quinoa patties with poachies. The coffee is by Genovese and they also serve freshly brewed chai, a very luscious Belgian hot chocolate (in white, milk or dark), Teadrop teas and smoothies by Charlies. If carb-loaded brekkies are your bag, head to Lawley’s Bakery Cafe in Wembley. We go bananas for their French toast made with white pagnotta bread and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, as well as their dense fruit toast. Pancakes fans, fear not, you can get your fix of light, fluffy goodness here too—there’s even Nutella filled pancakes! If you’ve only got time for a quick breakfast, grab one of Lawley’s buttery, delicious pastries and a coffee to go.

The Little Bakery in Nedlands make some of the tastiest cupcakes we’ve had the pleasure of trying. They’re baked to just the right size with the perfect level of sweetness—the kind of cupcake you could definitely go back for seconds for. With flavours spanning from the standard chocolate and vanilla to coconut, cookies and cream and red velvet, The Little Bakery also make celebration cakes and seriously excellent biscuits (think: melting moments, florentines and chocolate chip).

Tucked away among the trees in Roleystone, Genesis in the Hills dishes out some of Perth's best vegetarian and vegan eats. Everything on the menu is homemade with local and organic ingredients wherever possible—think veggo lasagne, smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juices and raw desserts. Head in on the first Saturday of the month and you'll also get to hear from local jazz musicians while you munch on your goodies. Put it on your Hills hit-list stat!

Conveniently located on the coolest little street in East Fremantle (George Street), the Pilates Centre WA offers up reformer classes lead by some of the best instructors around town. The studio’s 60-year-old owner Trudy, has a bangin’ body which has become the envy and the inspiration for all of her students, and she offers up a pretty sweet unlimited monthly membership package which allows you to attend one class every day the studio is open. You’ll need to book in for this one and be sure to schedule sessions around your George Street brunch hangs—it’s all about the balance!

Jumplings Tasty Dumplings

Possibly Perth’s best food truck, Jumplings Tasty Dumplings fry up some killer gyoza (Japanese-style pan-fried dumplings). The chicken, duck and vego varieties are menu staples, but if you’re lucky you might get to try the prawn, chilli crab or scallop Jumplings. To carb things up a notch, have your Jumplings served bowl style with udon noodles, cabbage and coriander, topped with homemade chilli and truffled ponzu sauces. Jumplings just opened up a stall in the Raine Square food court, which means a dumplings fix just got a whole lot more convenient for city workers!

Some of Perth's best burgers are served up by our mates at Hoodburger. They're stacked sky high and filled with goodness like onion rings, fried chicken and chips. You can find these guys dishing out the goods from their shopfront at Northbridge's Old Shanghai. Keep an eye on their Facebook page to see what kind of delights they are pumping out of their test kitchen; last we saw it was a mash and gravy burger.

Mosman Park's Bittersweet Bake has to be one of the best bakeshops in town. Walking in you'll be overwhelmed by the glass cabinet filled with beautiful sweet treats and lunchtime eats. Cakes are made especially to order for all your big occasions, but they also have a few take-away goodies if you don't have time to plan ahead. The baguettes are out of control and the quiches will knock your socks off!

Jambo Cafe in Fremantle needs to be your next stop for a quick and cheap lunch pick-me-up. When your life savings have dwindled to spare change, head down to this joint and the guys will be sure to hook you up. The half-wrap is a mere $2.50 and on Fridays, you can get charcoal-grilled yakitori chicken for $3. Who could say no to that?!

The Dough Room is the latest and greatest Italian pizzeria to hit the streets of Attadale! With exposed brick everywhere, a slightly rustic interior and the baddest woodfire pizza oven we've ever seen, this place makes your jaw drop as soon as you walk in. The pizzas are next level insane as well. House made bases with flour flown in from Italy and topped with only the freshest ingredients. It doesn't get much better then that.

Lord Coffee

Perth's newest little hole-in-the-wall coffee spot is now serving all the lords and ladies of perth with their amazing brew and delicious treats. Lord Coffee (opposite NIB Stadium) is pretty hard to miss with its awesome black and white graphics painted on the walls. They take coffee orders via text if you're in a hurry and serve some pretty specky banana bread and other loaves to fill your tummy. You can even drive through—heck yes!

If you're after delicious and cheap South-East Asian delicacies look no further than Old Lane Street Eats in Northbridge. The menu at this little China Town eatery really packs a punch with everything from bao, satay and curry dishes to juicy noodles and fragrant rice. Do your tastebuds a favour and order the Roti John (a chilli-cheeseburger-tasting bun filled with beef, egg, onion, sambal, Sriracha and kewpie mayo) and the Marmite Chicken Bao (boneless chicken, cucumber, carrot, spring onion, kewpie and Marmite sauce). You won't be disappointed!
