Owner Louise always wanted to be a hairdresser and has brought her skills all the way from the UK. The salon has such a fresh and clean vibe which is super relaxing when you're getting your head massaged by the pros. The girls here will listen to what you want, advise you and then make it happen. It's like magic.
The Court Hotel
Most people know The Court Hotel as the gay and lesbian nightclub where you go on the weekend to get your boogie on to Queen Bey. But, what people don't know is that they're actually open from lunch time, seven days a week, serving up some of the most delicious pub grub we ever did see. If the weather is playing nice you can sit in the outdoor courtyard, otherwise the lounge inside makes for a good alternative. When the sun goes down they fire up a wood-fired pizza oven in the courtyard where you can watch the amazing (and fun) drag and cabaret shows.
Odyssea

Perched on top of a high-rise parking lot on Roe Street in Northbridge, Rooftop Movies is our preferred way to watch movies in the summer. Running while the weather is warm and the skies blue, doors swing open at 6pm leaving you plenty of time to grab a pizza and some bevvies before the show starts at 8pm. Collodel Ice Cream & Sorbet
We're a little jealous of all you hills folk out there because you have Collodel Ice Cream & Sorbet right at your doorstep! Known for their amazing homemade flavours this Kalamunda creamery is legit. The must try menu item would have to be the Spaghetti Sundae—ice cream squeezed through holes (pasta), topped with raspberry and strawberry sauce (bolognaise) and sprinkled with sugar (parmesan). Yummo!
Papa B’s Tortas
The guys at the Papa B's Tortas food truck know their shiz when it comes to Central American foodie goodness and we are ever so thankful. Frequent visitors to food truck rumbles and special events, these blokes also have your catering needs in the bag. You're welcome.
Allora
In the heart of Subiaco, Allora Cafe will satisfy all your coffee needs and brunch cravings. From their Instagram feed, our pick is the house-made granola with Moscato poached pear and vanilla yoghurt pannacotta. They also serve up some Italian eats for lunch, including house-made gnocchi. If you’re in a rush, you can even flick a text through with your coffee order.
Bangkok Brothers
Bangkok Brothers is serving up all your usual Thai suspects from delish duck curry to perfect papaya salad and everything in between. They’ve also got some amazing looking desserts like the Thai tea crepe cake (drool) and they do coffee and a few breakfast dishes too!
Mayfair Lane
All you Perthlings who have moved home from your stint in London and are missing the pub scene, Mayfair Lane in West Perth is the spot for you. In what used to be The Brown Fox, you can get your hands on bangers and mash, fish and chips or a juicy burger in the pub, while over in the dining room the food gets a bit fancier with dishes like twice-cooked pork belly, Cone Bay barramundi and a selection of aged steaks. Perth is going crazy for gelato at the moment and Whisk Creamery in Northbridge is one of the reasons why. This place really takes #foodporn to a new (dangerous) level. Picture this: a cronut, sandwiched with salted caramel gelato, homemade salted caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream. If that hasn't got you salivating then really, what will. The crew at Whisk Creamery are all about using quality produce and their soft soft-serve gelatos and frozen yoghurts are made with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. That's practically healthy in our book!
Third Wheel
Third Wheel Cafe in South Fremantle caught our attention for all the right reasons. Serving up some of the most delicious coffee and even better cakes and cookies we just can't get enough. We're talking Persian fig and butterscotch cake here people! They also dish up some pretty rad gourmet sangas, soups and cold brew coffee.
Babylon Cafe
Leederville newbie, Babylon Cafe, is adorable—think fun, colourful retro vibes, outdoor seating and lots of greenery. Situated behind the Rug Studio, this lovely cafe can be a little hard to find when you haven’t had your morning coffee, but it's well worth the hunt. They serve up a brew that is pretty close to perfection and you won't be able to resist pairing it with a homemade treat. If you're more of a savoury person, Babylon Cafe have you covered with plenty of healthy salads and lunchtime treats. Deeeelish!

Walk into this cute little cafe and you will be hit by a huge glass cabinet filled to the brim with fresh produce, salads, cold meals and healthy sweet treats. Open for brekky, lunch and dinner Veggie Mamma is a healthy haven that will have you feeling #smug all day.
Frisch and Barc
Founded on a love of food, coffee and community, Frisch and Barc is a stunning Como cafe that you will never want to leave. From the especially cool interior to the incredibly delicious brioche French toast with coconut pandan custard and mixed berry compote, not to mention the coffee—provided by local roaster Top Shelf Coffee—this place has really nailed the cool cafe vibe. Frisch and Barc also place a really big emphasis on tea and they serve a pretty tasty hot chocolate topped with a toasted American style marshmallow. Yummo!
Nomstar Ramen
Nomstar Ramen in Karawara has allll of the ramen! Yuummmmmm! This little place located within Waterford Plaza dishes up some of the tastiest noodle soups in P-town and the place just oozes that Japanese vibe. They serve up various ramen bowls, gyozas, karaage and so many pork buns. Don't forget the matcha and black sesame ice cream afterwards.
Burnt Toast
Burnt Toast just popped up a few weeks ago in the ‘burbs of Claremont and the locals are pleased! Good coffee and plenty of take away lunch options, there will also be a few vegan treats coming soon!
Halo Espresso
For a feel good coffee kick head to boutique cafe, Halo Espresso, in South Perth. All of Halo’s profits are invested in poverty-alleviating local initiatives, so it’s pretty safe to say these are the nicest cafe owners about town. Halo dish up delicious raw treats, an exclusive coffee blend with chocolate notes, as well as a rad breakfast and lunch menu. Thanks guys!
Karibu Cafe
Calling all health freaks, vegan nuts and veggo lovers to Karibu Cafe in Subiaco right this instant. We're talking gluten free, dairy free, vegan, low carb, sugar free and everything else healthy you could ever imagine—including bulletproof coffee and burgers without bread! They also stock the most amazing looking sweet treats (but without the nasties) which you MUST try. The perfect little spot for a quick and healthy lunch.
The Don
After killing it with their pop up, The Don opened a permanent shop in Northbridge where they are dishing out their famous American cross Asian eats! We can't get enough of their ramen burgers—burgers with buns made of ramen noodles (holy moly) and just enough Asian flavour in every bite, but that's not all they're good at. They also do perfect crepe cakes, bao buns, fried chicken, noodle soups and now.
Muffle & Co
Fremantle's Muffle & Co wraps up creamy ice cream and fresh fruit inside warm waffles to make something that is so much better than an ordinary ice cream cone.
Fish Boss
Perth, we’ve got a fish and chips food truck thanks to Fish Boss. These guys know good seafood and will be serving only the very best of the best to bring you the tastiest fish and chips you’ll get your hands on. Cottoni is popping up at the Freo markets every weekend to satisfy Perth’s need for seriously ridiculous food. West Leederville cafe Pearth Organic Kitchen is a health foodie's dream. With avocado galore, raw gooey caramel slice and smoothie bowls for days, you'll have a tough time deciding what to eat. We're already planning the second trip to try the peanut butter smoothie and the epic looking salads!
Sentinel
Brimming with NYC style and sophistication and serving up a European inspired food menu, Perth Restaurant Sentinel dishes out the opulence we’ve come to expect from the St Georges Terrace hospitality scene. A cherry-picked International wine list compliments the simple bistro fare on offer and it’s a well-known go-to for a decent steak.

The gorgeous Asian-inspired Chapels on Whatley is a quaint Perth cafe specialising in fine tea. More than 550 flavours are on offer, including British, French and Chinese black tea blends served in Wedgewood, Royal Daulton and Royal Albert China, and varieties of white, green, oolong and pu-erh tea served in glassware designed by Chapels themselves. The best part? For just $5.50 per person you can sample as many types of tea as you’d like, one pot at a time over two hours. An impressive selection of street eats, small dishes, curries and dessert, Sauma has something for everyone.

The Petition family strikes again with this one-of-a-kind restaurant in the CBD's State Buildings precinct. Petition Kitchen is serving up top-quality nosh all day long. Grab a fresh smoothie, brew or pastry for brekky, pop in during the lunch hustle and bustle for a quick bite, or grab a table for two and take in the moody vibes for dinner. This is the perfect definition of inner-city dining.

Dessert Room in Karawara might just be your new favourite sweet shop. Offering Belgian hot chocolate, taro and matcha lattes, rad coffees and some crazy looking freakshakes, these guys cater to the sweet tooth in all of us. Dessert Room do some savoury bites like breakfast bagels, omelettes and a classic big brekky, but what you really need to try are the red velvet waffles. This place is perfect for a morning pit stop or that special after-dinner treat that you know you deserve.

Print Hall, housed in the historical West Australian print factory, is Perth’s first multi level dining and bar precinct - and the epicentre of the Brookfield Place empire. When the after-work whistle blows, the suits on St George’s Terrace race through the doors of Print Hall like clockwork. Plenty of world class food and drink options keep the punters gratified and a nod to heritage chic sets the tone for the rest of the Brookfield Place kingdom.

When it comes to cold pressed juices and smoothies, Mount Hawthorn health food heroes Jujuberry + Co certainly know their shizz. These guys are on top of all the health food trends like turmeric lattes and beeteroot lattes (yup, beetroot!). They have some of the prettiest looking dishes we've ever seen and they're all raw, organic and 100% real. Most importantly, everything tastes delicious and will have you glowing from the inside out in no time at all.
Side Door BBQ
If you’re after a real American BBQ experience, head to Mount Lawley's Side Door BBQ. They’ve got tasty smoked and non-smoked BBQ meats and all of the trimmings you could ever want or need including cornbread, BBQ beans with burnt ends, corn on the cob, pickled slaw and collard greens, as well as starters like pork belly lollipops and smoked brisket cigars. We can't get enough!

Following the trend of an all-encompassing business name, Slurp Soup and Salad Bar provides just that to the Perth CBD peeps. This popular lunch spot now in Enex 100 has a loyal following who queue up each day to get their mits on the likes of Chicken Veloute soup, served in a sourdough bread bowl or with a stick of perfectly toasted ham and cheese brioche. Yoga Tree Perth
With classes ranging from 60 to 90 minutes, you can practice everything from Bikram to hot yoga and Pilates at Yoga Tree Perth in East Victoria Park. The crew here have created a lovely little yogic sanctuary, the rooms are super clean and smell surprisingly pleasant and the bathrooms are some of the best we’ve come across in the hot yoga community in Perth. If heading home with a bundled up sweat towel stinking up your car is not your thing, you can even hire freshly cleaned mats and towels, so all you’ll need to wash after class is your yoga gear (and body obvi).
