Another weekend is headed our way and team, it’s going to be a busy one. With news that Sunday is set to peak with summer-style temps, we know you’ll want to be out amongst it and lucky for you guys you’ve landed on this list.

Here are the top things to do in Sydney this weekend, because a full social calendar is the very best kind, and you totally deserve it.

All Weekend

INDU Winter Feast

Whilst we’ve been counting down the days left in winter, our friends at INDU have been celebrating each and every day of the colder weather with a lunch feast. It’s all about these final 45 day feels (we’re THAT close to spring), with a $45 feast (see what they did there?). With spicy Southern Indian curries (an absolute must), paired with their signature Sri Lankan flavours, this one is worth the decent post-feed food baby.

Where: INDU
When: Monday – Friday, from 12pm
Cost: $45

Arrange Your Own Flowers With Bloombox Co

You’ve always thought of yourself as a flower arranging legend, but let’s be real, there’s always room for improvement. Luckily for you Bloombox Co is hosting flower-arranging workshops that’ll unleash your green thumb and up your creative game big time this weekend. There’ll be posy making, vase arrangements, and if you’re not already head-over-heels for flower crowns (stop kidding yourself) and click here for tickets.

Where: West Elm, Bondi Junction
When: Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 July
Cost: $68.92

Thursday 27 July

Sydney Winter Truffle Dinner: Rockpool

Apart from Netflixing excessively and convincing yourself that it’s socially acceptable to rock your fave trackies all day, errryday, winter also means that it’s truffle season. And as if these ‘diamonds of gastronomy’ couldn’t be any more perfect already, how about a five-course dinner featuring all of the wine? Your belly is crying out for the steak tartare and truffle en croute (even if you don’t know it yet), beef fillet with fried quail egg, and we know that you won’t be saying no to gnocchi with truffle butter? Head here to book.

Where: The Cut and Bar Grill
When: Thursday 27 July, from 6.30pm
Cost: $300pp (including matching wines)

Friday 28 July

Red Bull Sound Select July

New sounds and artists are set to hit our ears again thanks to Red Bull’s legendary Sound Select program. Brought to us this time by Travis Banko (the genius behind Laneway Festival) and we’re pumped for some sweet R&B, hip-hop, pop and electronica. Three Sydney acts are hitting the stage this July: Jonti, Slum Sociable, and Bus Vipers, so if live gigs are your jam (see what we did there?), head here to grab your tickets.

Where: The Lansdowne Hotel
When: Friday 28 July, doors open at 8pm
Cost: $3 with RSVP or $10 on the door

Modus Operandi And Ducks Days Beer Launch

There’s a new craft beer in town and we’ve all been invited to its release. Our friends over at Three Blue Ducks have expanded their creative genius and introduced their very own Pale Ale. Introducing: Duck Days. Andy Allen and Modus Operandi have combined their serious flavour skills and passion for a good bev, so come celebrate with live music, food and beer—it’s a pretty obvious no brainer. Head here for more deets.

Millenium Bug Hollywood

Throw on your best It Girl outfit and make like you’re in LA at Millenium Bug’s Hollywood party. Hudson’s Ballroom will be transformed into epic naughties party spot, Chateau Marmont, as you rock your fetchest outfit to bust a move to J.Lo, Sisqo and because stars are blind, even Paris will get a run. National Chicken Wing Day

No you’re not hallucinating; chicken wing day is officially a thing. Dig out your lederhosen, dirndls (or just your most elasticated pants) ‘cause Munich Brauhaus, Bavarian Bier Café and the Bavarian are all cooking up a wing storm this weekend. Their mission: to break the wing record with 100,000 wings served across the 14 locations in the space of a single ‘flappy’ hour. And for those of you with tight wallet zips, these babies are going for a measly 10c each, OR splash a 20 and get a kilo of wings plus a beer! If you’re a self-proclaimed wing wonder, 3pm on Saturday is your time to shine in the wing eating competition, with the fastest person to munch through 20 wings earning themselves a clean $250.

Round She Goes Market

We do love us some preloved fashion (as we’re sure you do too!), soooo naturally everyone should head over to Marrickville Town Hall this weekend for Round SheGoes. There’ll be 60 stalls selling all things vintage, designer, shiny, handmade, and just downright trendy.

Knowledge Grounds Café High Tea

If the promise of serving up the best coffee in Concord tempts you like it tempts us, then you’ll want to get your taste buds over to Knowledge Grounds Café for a little inspection this weekend. To celebrate their tasty AF fresh food, they’ve decided to treat us all to weekly high teas—expect finger sandwiches, mini quiche, and what we’re all really here for: those cupcakes and scones. Sip on tea and coffee and maybe (who are we kidding, definitely) try out one of their cheesecake shots. Finish it all off with a mini brownie and recover just in time for next week.

National Lasagne Day Machiavelli Ristorante Italiano

Just when you thought this weekend couldn’t get any better, it turns out there’s an entire day dedicated to lasagne. To honour what must be the best day of the year, Machiavelli Ristorante Italiano have put their Italian heritage and kitchen skills to good use, creating a ridiculously good pork belly lasagne. The guys over at Machiavelli’s know what it takes to plate up a damn good lasagne, with its creamy fillings of grana padana between each layer and crispy edges. Plus, all hail the pork crackling (ooooh yes, it’ll be there too). This special lasagne will be hanging around until the end of August, so get on it.

Fish out your glue gun fellow crafters because Etsy just got even better and is hitting Sydney IRL. Get ready to be inspired by like-minded artists and designers as the market kicks off at Brewery Yard Markets this weekend and make sure you bring some cash, because there’ll be Aussie-made trinkets in beautiful abundance and all the treasures that you can cram into 60 exciting stalls! Puppycino Dates

A workshop for how to cuddle your pooch may sound like a uni elective you took in a dream once, but turns out Dr Cherlene Lee has officially made this possible. Because you love your pooch more than any human in your life, we know you’re as keen as we are to learn how to give a good physical examination for any ear, eye, tooth or skin abnormalities. And now, you can fiiiinally get your first aid certificate (the pooch one counts, right?). Learn how to help your best friend with wounds, seizures, car accidents and resuscitation. With puppycinos and dog treats being served, this one is a must.
