If you’re anything like us, the delightful musical La La Land totally stole your heart. You were glued to the movie screen as you watched Mia and Sebastian sing and dance their way around Los Angeles. And the heartbreak—oh, the heartbreak—had you (and us!) sobbing like a right mess.
Well, listen up all you fools who dream. La La Land is taking the stage as a live CONCERT. That’s right, The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra is at it again and this time they’ll be performing the Oscar-winning soundtrack on stage at Spark Arena.
And, just when you thought things couldn’t get better than that, the concert will be live alongside a FULL screening of the much-loved film. Yep, all your senses will be in for a goose bump-inducing experience as you watch Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone grace their city of stars.
The talented 80-piece orchestra and band will perform composer Justin Hurwitz’s incredible score live on Wednesday, December 20 for one. night. only. We’re predicting a sell-out show so don’t snooze when it comes to nabbing tickets this Friday.
One thing’s for certain: this exciting news has our toes tapping and exclaiming it’s another day of sun!
