Ever dreamt of going down the rabbit hole with Alice? Well dream no more, because a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is coming to the eclectic and quirky world of K’ Road.

A part of their First Thursdays biannual event to celebrate this creative community, all the businesses will stay open, with deals, events, gigs and anything else you can imagine.

This time, St Kevin’s Arcade plays host to the Tea Party—but beware of the Drag Queen of Hearts who will be roaming the street!  There will also be some New Orleans Jazz thanks to Auckland City Scoundrels and vintage and craft buys from Twice as Nice Markets.

If that wasn’t enough, The Cross Street Market will debut at First Thursdays. This is one market you won’t want to miss—it promises to be filled with loads of weird and wonderful surprises.

There will be art installations and, curious and curiouser, there’ll be dancing cats, Zine Fair, DJs, Rabbit Stew, performance art and much, much more.

So make sure you’re not late, not late, for this very important date!
