Not only are they responsible for some of the best fish and chips in Perth, they are also serving up some delicious modern Australian seafood dishes—like the ocean trout with carpaccio, chipotle and a tasty tomato capsicum salsa and the lip-smacking soy glazed Atlantic salmon with ginger and shallots. If you need to take your seafood treasures with you home that is no problem, just make sure you don’t miss out on their homemade ice cream—if you’re feeling exotic try the tequila, chilli and dark chocolate or lychee, pear and anise. Perth's first shop dedicated entirely to the sweet treat that basically sums up your childhood, Spirals Cinnamon in Mount Hawthorn is baking some of the best dang cinnamon scrolls in town! The classic is amazing of course, but if you want something a little different why not give the salted butterscotch pecan, the cream cheese or the chocolate fudge scroll a try? If you're looking to green-ify your pad, then look no further than Salty Gold in South Fremantle. With indoor plants galore, beautiful hand painted pots and a range of skin care, jewellery, gifts and homewares, you'll be hard pressed not to spend all your cash in a matter of minutes. East Perth cafe DuoTone is serving up breakfast like you've never seen it before. In the mood for crispy sweet potato noodles? Done. Mushroom bruschetta? Done. Or what about the most epic PB&J smoothie you'll ever see? Done, done and done! Arirang is probably the most well-known Korean BBQ spot in Perth, and for good reason, the food is delicious! In the meat department, the beef bulgogi is a real winner, but they've also got wagyu, three-layered pork belly and marinated beef ribs—bring on the meat sweats! While you're there, definitely order a serving of the kimcheese fried rice.

You'll feel right at home in this delightful little cafe, with its wooden floorboards and exposed brick walls. We recommend the nasi goreng, smashed avo and pancakes or anything and everything on their menu! Plus, their pastries and cakes are to die for if you're looking for something small to nibble on as you enjoy the tasty coffee or tea.
DEJAVU
Dishing out tapas with a twist, De Ja Vu in Northbridge is sure to impress. Hidden upstairs on William Street in an unassuming building, the first thing you'll notice when you enter the restaurant on the first floor is the killer view of Northbridge. Once you sit down, you'll want to order the rosemary damper, sweet potato fries and the cinnamon and cayenne spiced shiitake balls ASAP. With plenty of vegan options as well as interesting ingredients like jackfruit and native macadamia, there is someone for everyone at this little gem!
The Cavern
World tapas is on the menu at The Cavern in Kalamunda and we can't get enough. Choose from crunchy fried cheese stuffed jalapenos, double crumbed french brie, crispy prawn dumplings or any of the other scrumptious items on the menu. The Cavern also offers a banquet menu to make choosing a little easier (and life a little cheaper). Plus, they've got loads of gluten-free friendly items and a killer cocktails list.
Embers Wood Fired
Nestled into leafy Gooseberry Hill, Embers Wood Fired is your go to for hearty Italian eats in the hills. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the wood-fired pizzas at Embers are incredible, and also available for takeaway—we love the Cacc-22 with cacciatore, caramelised onions, goats cheese and artichoke. Definitely stop by on your next trek up the hill.
Clancy’s Fish Pub | Canning Bridge
For a killer Monday night quiz, tasty seafood and loads of laid-back vibes, Clancy’s Fish Pub in Applecross is the ticket. Serving up some of Perth’s best fish and chips, chilli mussels and steak sandwiches, these guys are also open for brekky during the week.

Whether you are after a good cup of joe or a refreshing juice from Pressed Daily, swing by this Freo gem for instant satisfaction. They’re also serving up some delicious freshly made breakfast wraps, reubens and pies. If you can manage to drop by on a weekend, the team has joined forces with the guys over at Short Order Burger Co to make some of the best brekky burgers known to mankind.

Nothing makes us go 'ooh' quite like coffee and that's just one of the reasons we can't get enough of Ooh Coffee in North Fremantle! The team here uses Five Senses beans to create a smooth and silky blend from 6:30am every morning so you can get your caffeine fix nice and early! To make things even better, this coffee shop is running alongside one of Freo's finest fashion boutiques, Ooh La La, so you can get your caffeine and style fix all in one hit! Thoughtful, right?
Grab A Yabby
The freshest addition to Beaux Lane in Mount Lawley, Grab A Yabby has to be one of the wildest dining crazes Perth. Serving fresh seafood, yummy cocktails and delicious meatier eats (for those not a fan of the fish), we love the king crab legs (smothered in Grab A Yabby's cajun special sauce), sweet potato fries and ribs. Be prepared to get sauce all over your face!
Coco + Boho
Serving the good people of Spearwood delicious breakfast and lunch, Coco + Boho’s seriously impressive food and drinks menu will make you want to drive and visit no matter where you are from. With gourmet dishes and cold pressed juices to wow just anyone, it’s no wonder this gem has southies frothing over the dishes and drinks. We would recommend the crab cake if you’re feeling savoury or the vanilla bean and spiced French toast if you’re feeling sweet, however that’s not to say everything else on their menu isn’t going to make you want to lick the plate!

This pretty-as-a-picture pastel pink shipping container is smack bang in the middle of the Perth Cultural Centre and the crew make the pretzels by hand right there, all day long so they're fresh as can be! If you're after something sweet, the Nutella pretzel is the bomb and the salted caramel is also pretty amaze! For those of you who prefer your pretzels savoury, the bacon and pepperoni is good but it's the jalapeno one that really has us drooling.

Starting out as a food and coffee truck, Lady Latte was doing so well that they opened their very own cafe in Scarborough. If you’ve ever had a coffee from the Lady Latte Coffee van, you know that this little cafe will serve you epic coffee. The breakfast and lunch menu is seriously drool-worthy with gourmet jaffles and delish sweet treats. The Matador Jaffle with Spanish chorizo and chipotle aioli and the Paris, Je t’aime with nutella, marshmallows and raspberries would make anyone drool.
West End Deli Cereal & Sandwich Bar

8 On The Point
Nestled amongst East Perth's "The Point" precinct, 8 On The Point is more than your average Chinese restaurant. Situated with Swan River views; everything from the food to the cocktails is on point—pun most definitely intended! The menu is flipping huge—seriously, you'll need to set aside 20 minutes just to get through it—but everything on it is pretty freaking tasty. These guys also offer yum cha on the weekends. Yas!
Little H
The team at Little H in Duncraig is producing some seriously good coffee as well as delish brekky and lunch eats! We recommend sitting down for breakfast and treating yourself to their red velvet pancakes if you're feeling something sweet, or the brekky burger if you're in need of something substantial. Our other fave at Little H is the New York style eggs benedict—eggs benedict served on fries instead of bread. Yes, please! If you're there for lunch, don't miss the crispy salt and pepper pork belly burger!
LA Fit | Highgate
LA Fit opened their second studio in Highgate after the huge success of their Subiaco studio—which isn't surprising considering you can burn up to 800 calories in one of their Lagree classes! If you don't know what Lagree is, think Pilates on steroids and you’re halfway there. The Lagree method combines strength, endurance, cardiovascular, balance, flexibility and core training into a full body workout. As if that wasn't enough, the team has upped the ante at the Highgate studio with Australia's first ever RideMega class which combines the Lagree method with a spin class. LA Fit Studio will have you feeling sculpted in no time at all (after the shakes have worn off).

Lake Espresso in Claremont is small but mighty and the team here is turning out some amazing coffee and a few sweet treats to boot. Located with stunning waterside views, this is the perfect place to unwind with some banana bread and a good brew after a stroll around the lake.
Pear Tree
The Pear Tree in Hamilton Hill is dishing some legendary coffee and tasty eats! The focus is on simple, wholesome and delicious food like wood fired eggs baked in tomato sauce with feta and chorizo or crispy sourdough with avo, tomato and feta. They also do some pretty awesome wood fired sandwiches which are all served with coconut oil fried chips, plus on Thursday and Friday nights you can come back for sourdough pizzas from 5pm - 8pm.
