If you love seafood as much as we do, A Fish Called Inglewood on Beaufort Street will be your new go-to restaurant. Not only are they responsible for some of the best fish and chips in Perth, they are also serving up some delicious modern Australian seafood dishes—like the ocean trout with carpaccio, chipotle and a tasty tomato capsicum salsa and the lip-smacking soy glazed Atlantic salmon with ginger and shallots. If you need to take your seafood treasures with you home that is no problem, just make sure you don’t miss out on their homemade ice cream—if you’re feeling exotic try the tequila, chilli and dark chocolate or lychee, pear and anise. Yum. 

Perth's first shop dedicated entirely to the sweet treat that basically sums up your childhood, Spirals Cinnamon in Mount Hawthorn is baking some of the best dang cinnamon scrolls in town! The classic is amazing of course, but if you want something a little different why not give the salted butterscotch pecan, the cream cheese or the chocolate fudge scroll a try? Or if you can't decide, just grab a mixed box sampler and call it a day.

If you're looking to green-ify your pad, then look no further than Salty Gold in South Fremantle. With indoor plants galore, beautiful hand painted pots and a range of skin care, jewellery, gifts and homewares, you'll be hard pressed not to spend all your cash in a matter of minutes. These guys have light weight pots from Arc and Family (so you can move your plants around 'til your heart's content) as well as smaller pots made by a local Freo ceramist so you'll have no trouble finding a little house for your new plants.

Not your average milk bar, Fremantle cafe Milk Belly is dedicated to providing patrons with the most over the top amazing drinks and tasty treats. Our fave has got to be the Bueno shake topped with a waffle cone and Ferrero Rocher, drizzled in Nutella—O.M.G! Milk Belly also does perfectly brewed coffee, epic sweet treats, killer sandwiches, and even steamed shakes when the weather cools down! 

Eggsluff is a brand new Asian-inspired cafe located in the heart Subiaco. From burgers to fried rice, this little joint serves a range of healthy but filling dishes, making it the perfect spot to pop into on your lunch break. If you fancy trying something new, their signature dish Egssluff—pureed potato topped with a poached egg and herbs and served with toast—is a must try!

Sitting pretty on James Street in Northbridge, Tiki As FK is not your average tiki bar. With an unexpected outdoor terrace boasting epic views of the city, plenty of tropical cocktails and a few bar bites to line the stomach, you'll want to add this one to your tiki hit list stat. With a cheeky sign out front stating that all their drinks contain booze and all their food contains gluten and nuts, this place isn't for the sensitive souls out there, but if you're looking to have a bit of fun, you know what to do.

Coccolicco in Fremantle does some pretty amazing things with two slices of bread, serving up some of the tastiest sandwiches going around. They also do killer breakfasts, coffees and smoothies, not to mention delicious baked treats! Whatever you do, give the smoked salmon sandwich a try, you won't regret it.

East Perth cafe DuoTone is serving up breakfast like you've never seen it before. In the mood for crispy sweet potato noodles? Done. Mushroom bruschetta? Done. Or what about the most epic PB&J smoothie you'll ever see? Done, done and done! The smoothies are topped with a whopping 20g of whey protein to keep you going all day, and the nourishing lunch bowls will make you feel all sorts of good. DuoTone is also serving up sweet treats all day long, most of which are gluten-free and dairy-free.

Sanook Thai Cafe in Greenwood serves up fresh aromatic Thai food, promising a taste that takes you right into the bustling streets of Bangkok. From the outside, it might not look like much to get excited about but wait until your first bite of a crispy Thai chicken wing before you judge.

Port City Roasters is in Fremantle in the spot that was once the Roasting Warehouse and it is pumping out some mighty fine coffee. Serving knockout breakfast and lunch, this Freo gem is much more than just a coffee pit stop. If you don't have time for breakfast, we recommend grabbing one of their homemade doughnuts and a coffee to let your cares melt away.

Arirang is probably the most well-known Korean BBQ spot in Perth, and for good reason, the food is delicious! In the meat department, the beef bulgogi is a real winner, but they've also got wagyu, three-layered pork belly and marinated beef ribs—bring on the meat sweats! While you're there, definitely order a serving of the kimcheese fried rice.

Chic Pea Cafe in the Freo Markets will make you actually consider becoming a vegan. Yes, true story. They dish up a variety of vegan and gluten free burgers, quiches and sweet treats, as well a changing menu of hot dishes like warming winter curries and hearty soups.

Djurra salon and spa in Fremantle is the perfect place to indulge in all of your beauty needs. This spa offers a whole host of skin treatments from hot stone massages and facials, to perfecting plant peels and brightening blemish removals. If you're after something less drastic, then look no further as they also offer a range of beauty treatments like professional makeup applications, lash and brow tinting and waxing. With some of the most talented hairstylists in Perth, the hair salon also offers damage remedy and scalp treatments, as well as the entire Aveda suite of products! Tucked away in the suburban streets of South Perth, The Little Banksia serves up some damn fine coffee and a spectacular brekky and lunch menu. You'll feel right at home in this delightful little cafe, with its wooden floorboards and exposed brick walls. We recommend the nasi goreng, smashed avo and pancakes or anything and everything on their menu! Plus, their pastries and cakes are to die for if you're looking for something small to nibble on as you enjoy the tasty coffee or tea.

Dishing out tapas with a twist, De Ja Vu in Northbridge is sure to impress. Hidden upstairs on William Street in an unassuming building, the first thing you'll notice when you enter the restaurant on the first floor is the killer view of Northbridge. Once you sit down, you'll want to order the rosemary damper, sweet potato fries and the cinnamon and cayenne spiced shiitake balls ASAP. With plenty of vegan options as well as interesting ingredients like jackfruit and native macadamia, there is someone for everyone at this little gem!

World tapas is on the menu at The Cavern in Kalamunda and we can't get enough. Choose from crunchy fried cheese stuffed jalapenos, double crumbed french brie, crispy prawn dumplings or any of the other scrumptious items on the menu. The Cavern also offers a banquet menu to make choosing a little easier (and life a little cheaper). Plus, they've got loads of gluten-free friendly items and a killer cocktails list.

Nestled into leafy Gooseberry Hill, Embers Wood Fired is your go to for hearty Italian eats in the hills. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the wood-fired pizzas at Embers are incredible, and also available for takeaway—we love the Cacc-22 with cacciatore, caramelised onions, goats cheese and artichoke. Definitely stop by on your next trek up the hill.

For a killer Monday night quiz, tasty seafood and loads of laid-back vibes, Clancy’s Fish Pub in Applecross is the ticket. Serving up some of Perth’s best fish and chips, chilli mussels and steak sandwiches, these guys are also open for brekky during the week.

The Grumpy Sailor is dishing out stellar coffee and even better bagels to the people of Fremantle every day of the week. The team here also do some pretty epic freakshakes—like honeycomb and Snickers—but if you're after something to make your insides sing, try one of their beetroot or turmeric lattes. Yummo.

Best Wishes Coffee is serving up a seriously good brew just minutes from Fremantle's train station. Whether you are after a good cup of joe or a refreshing juice from Pressed Daily, swing by this Freo gem for instant satisfaction. They’re also serving up some delicious freshly made breakfast wraps, reubens and pies. If you can manage to drop by on a weekend, the team has joined forces with the guys over at Short Order Burger Co to make some of the best brekky burgers known to mankind.

The Grumpy Sailor is spreading its joy all over Fremantle with another cafe, Baby Grumpy Sailor. Located on Queen Street, Baby Grump is providing all the top notch coffee, bagels, treats and delights that you’ve come to know and love from this talented team.

Nothing makes us go 'ooh' quite like coffee and that's just one of the reasons we can't get enough of Ooh Coffee in North Fremantle! The team here uses Five Senses beans to create a smooth and silky blend from 6:30am every morning so you can get your caffeine fix nice and early! To make things even better, this coffee shop is running alongside one of Freo's finest fashion boutiques, Ooh La La, so you can get your caffeine and style fix all in one hit! Thoughtful, right?

The freshest addition to Beaux Lane in Mount Lawley, Grab A Yabby has to be one of the wildest dining crazes Perth. Serving fresh seafood, yummy cocktails and delicious meatier eats (for those not a fan of the fish), we love the king crab legs (smothered in Grab A Yabby's cajun special sauce), sweet potato fries and ribs. Be prepared to get sauce all over your face!

Serving the good people of Spearwood delicious breakfast and lunch, Coco + Boho’s seriously impressive food and drinks menu will make you want to drive and visit no matter where you are from. With gourmet dishes and cold pressed juices to wow just anyone, it’s no wonder this gem has southies frothing over the dishes and drinks. We would recommend the crab cake if you’re feeling savoury or the vanilla bean and spiced French toast if you’re feeling sweet, however that’s not to say everything else on their menu isn’t going to make you want to lick the plate!

Another amazing cafe in Scarborough, Doric St Cafe + Kitchen is serving up some seriously impressive breakfasts that are pretty healthy to boot. Spicy chorizo eggs or pumpkin mash, or a super healthy smashed avo topped with roasted mushies—how to choose? They also do a mean cup of joe.

Exhale Mindfulness Studio in West Perth is the answer to all of your very stressful problems! Filled with natural light and lots of fresh air, this is the perfect place to go after a tough day at the office. Sessions run for 30 minutes—so you could fit one into your lunch break, no sweat (literally)—and they'll only set you back $12 for a single class. If you'd prefer to go all in, you can get a one month unlimited class pass for $39, so you can get zen errry day!

If you've been searching for giant, delicious fresh pretzels in Perth then look no further than Pretzel. This pretty-as-a-picture pastel pink shipping container is smack bang in the middle of the Perth Cultural Centre and the crew make the pretzels by hand right there, all day long so they're fresh as can be! If you're after something sweet, the Nutella pretzel is the bomb and the salted caramel is also pretty amaze! For those of you who prefer your pretzels savoury, the bacon and pepperoni is good but it's the jalapeno one that really has us drooling.

Starting out as a food and coffee truck, Lady Latte was doing so well that they opened their very own cafe in Scarborough. If you’ve ever had a coffee from the Lady Latte Coffee van, you know that this little cafe will serve you epic coffee. The breakfast and lunch menu is seriously drool-worthy with gourmet jaffles and delish sweet treats. The Matador Jaffle with Spanish chorizo and chipotle aioli and the Paris, Je t’aime with nutella, marshmallows and raspberries would make anyone drool.

The West End Deli Cereal & Sandwich Bar in Perth's CBD has carb lovers singing their praise. Whether you're after a big bowl of Lucky Charms topped with toasted marshmallows, Milo and white chocolate, a super healthy bowl of quinoa bircher or a killer sandwich, this is the place for you. They also do a few salads and some epic piesSo pass the milk and spoons and get crunching with this American inspired gem.

Nestled amongst East Perth's "The Point" precinct, 8 On The Point is more than your average Chinese restaurant. Situated with Swan River views; everything from the food to the cocktails is on point—pun most definitely intended! The menu is flipping huge—seriously, you'll need to set aside 20 minutes just to get through it—but everything on it is pretty freaking tasty. These guys also offer yum cha on the weekends. Yas!

The team at Little H in Duncraig is producing some seriously good coffee as well as delish brekky and lunch eats! We recommend sitting down for breakfast and treating yourself to their red velvet pancakes if you're feeling something sweet, or the brekky burger if you're in need of something substantial. Our other fave at Little H is the New York style eggs benedict—eggs benedict served on fries instead of bread. Yes, please! If you're there for lunch, don't miss the crispy salt and pepper pork belly burger!

LA Fit opened their second studio in Highgate after the huge success of their Subiaco studio—which isn't surprising considering you can burn up to 800 calories in one of their Lagree classes! If you don't know what Lagree is, think Pilates on steroids and you’re halfway there. The Lagree method combines strength, endurance, cardiovascular, balance, flexibility and core training into a full body workout. As if that wasn't enough, the team has upped the ante at the Highgate studio with Australia's first ever RideMega class which combines the Lagree method with a spin class. LA Fit Studio will have you feeling sculpted in no time at all (after the shakes have worn off).

Lake Espresso in Claremont is small but mighty and the team here is turning out some amazing coffee and a few sweet treats to boot. Located with stunning waterside views, this is the perfect place to unwind with some banana bread and a good brew after a stroll around the lake.

The Pear Tree in Hamilton Hill is dishing some legendary coffee and tasty eats! The focus is on simple, wholesome and delicious food like wood fired eggs baked in tomato sauce with feta and chorizo or crispy sourdough with avo, tomato and feta. They also do some pretty awesome wood fired sandwiches which are all served with coconut oil fried chips, plus on Thursday and Friday nights you can come back for sourdough pizzas from 5pm - 8pm.

They've been around since 1994 and pride themselves on being the best in the business when it comes to sourcing the finest international foods. We're talking salted chips and chocolate, french toast, lavender and honeycomb and even New York cheesecake. It's safe to say that our eyes light up when we see the word chocolate, but especially when the same Sue Lewis is involved. Part of the incredible State Buildings, Sue Lewis Chocolatier creates delectable, handmade chocolates that are almost too beautiful to eat. Just a pre-warning—it may ruin all other chocolate for you because it is so darn good. #sorrynotsorry

On top of dishing out delicious chia puddings, cupcakes and muffins, they also put together beautiful hampers, making the perfect gift for that special someone. Tucked beneath the Windsor Lodge Hotel on Preston Street in Como, Juniper & Bay has been dishing out delectable Eurasian cuisine for several years to those in the know. Owners Soren and Sabine, who did time (a decade even) at the George Street Bistro, have created a relaxed and intimate fine dining experience at Juniper & Bay. And when it comes to the dishes served you can expect seasonal produce and plated perfection every time. Offering one of the most reasonably priced degustation menus in Perth ($73 for five courses) and some killer mid-week dining deals, head here for your next date night!

Sushi and sake go hand in hand, which is why James Parker in Northbridge have a good thing going on. Grab the wagyu roll and a sake or two and you're all set. James Parker also serves some delish sashimi, if you're into that kind of thing. 

Epicurean at Crown Towers is a dining experience unlike any other in Perth. The buffet-style restaurant is the answer to all of your foodie desires, with dishes ranging from house-made curries and smoked brisket, to one of the largest chocolate fountains we’ve ever laid eyes on. Saying no to seconds definitely won’t be possible. Top tip: Go with an empty stomach!

The Skin Nurse Australia, tucked into King Street in Perth, provides a range of treatments which will leave your skin renewed and refreshed. Little Cultures in Subiaco make their froyo right there in the store and the crew slice and dice the toppings in front of you, so you know everything is fresh. They also do fresh yoghurt bowls, smoothie bowls, cold-pressed juices and more. We can't get enough of the monkey business with banana, dark chocolate, cocoa pops and banana chips. Yum!

Red Spoon in Cottesloe is offering the best of both worlds with a smorgasbord of gelato and froyo. The team here are friendly and super helpful if you’re a newbie to the froyo scene and have no idea where to start. Plus, they are located a stone's throw from the beach, so you can enjoy your frozen treat than overlooking the water.

Ditto Froyo Cafe in Applecross ticks all of the boxes for any health freak or gym junkie looking to give themselves a bit of leeway. Serving sugar-free options which are still freakin’ tasty, the team here rotate the flavours on the regs so there’s always something new.
