Mr Fox On William
Mr Fox on William in Northbridge are dishing out all sorts of delicious eats. If you're looking for a healthy hit, try the green bowl which is full of brown rice and quinoa, avo, peas, spinach and sprouts, all topped with Thai pesto and a poached egg. If you'd prefer something more decadent, you need to try their mac and cheese waffles—yep, waffles sandwiched with real mac and cheese, served with fried chicken and maple syrup! Mr Fox also makes a mean crema brulee coffee. Run, don't walk.
The Rose & Crown Hotel
The Rose & Crown in Guildford is the oldest hotel in the state and the third oldest licensed hotel in Australia! Wowza! Head down for one of those amazing pub feeds followed by a drink at the classic, old school bar. Even though the hotel has been renovated, it still carries that classic charm within its walls and it is the most relaxing place to meet a group of friends.

Noodle Forum | Shafto Lane
Each strand of Noodle Forum's noodley goodness is created by hand and by golly it is delicious. They've got their own noodle master who has been a pro since the 60's as well as a head chef who takes over to cook the delicious meals. The little restaurant in Shafto Lane in Perth's CBD is our new favourite lunchtime haunt! We'll take 5 of the Malaysian Spicy Chicken with noodles please!!
Cafe 2TwentyFour
Freak-shake lovers rejoice - this place is going to knock your socks off! Not only do the mega freak-shakes at Belmont's Cafe 2TwentyFour reel in peeps from all over Perth, but the remainder of their menu is pretty spot on too. We'd recommend a Golden Gaytime megashake along with the pulled pork eggs benny. Make sure you head down super early, this place gets busy.
The Modern Eatery | Mount Lawley
Mount Lawley restaurant The Modern Eatery specialises in Aburi sushi—a style where the fish is partially cooked with a blow torch and partially raw, resulting in a subtle buttery and smokey flavour. They serve up fresh and delicious Aburi sushi alongside a good range of uramaki, sashimi, nigari and tempura. Try one of the elaborately named and made craft rolls while you sip on 12-year-old Japanese whiskey. Perfect.
The Honeycake
A whole store full of Honeycake... what more could you ask for? Layers upon layers of crumbly, creamy goodness. Located in the newly refurbished state buildings alongside Sue Lewis Chocolatier and Sugarplum Sweets (drool), The Honeycake is your one-stop-shop for buying, ordering, tasting and trying all things Honeycake—including Honeycake cheesecake! You honestly don't even need to think about going anywhere else in Perth.
Chilli Panda
Not your average Chinese restaurant, Chilli Panda in Northbridge have really hit the nail on the head. If you’re a spice fiend, you will straight up love this place, every dish is loaded up with tons of chilli (don't say we didn't warn you). We'd recommend a Hunan Signature rice noodle or soup dish for your next Chinese fix. You won't be disappointed.
Mason & Bird
Kalamunda cafe Mason & Bird is putting the hills on the culinary map in a serious way. The brain child of Print Hall's former head chef, Brad Johnston, his partner Jacklyn Noel and the ex-venue and bar manager of Rockpool, Matt Nguyen, Mason & Bird is less fine dining and more of a casual affair but with the same wow-worthy flavours you'd expect from these guys.
F45 Training | Perth
For a different workout each time you visit, hit up Perth gym F45 Training in the CBD. One of the top destinations for HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and small group personal training in Perth, F45 Training will keep you in tip-top condition year-round. The classes are made up of cardio, circuit, resistance and boxing and are all 45 minutes long. You’ll work hard, but the results will be worth it. Check out the website for class times and details.
Ibiza N2
Ibiza N2 in Mount Lawley is Perth's first nitrogen gelato shop and it's seriously impressive! The crew here use liquid nitrogen to flash freeze gelato right in front of your eyes so you get the smoothest, freshly churned gelato ever. They also make some seriously delicious churros and all sorts of fun drinks like pistachio white hot chocolates and Spanish hot chocolates.

For some of the best Korean fried chicken in Perth look no further than Gami Fried Chicken & Beer tucked into Shafto Lane.
Phoever
We love a restaurant with a quirky name, so Canning Vale's Phoever gets our vote. These guys have five different types of pho to choose from—our tip is the pho trio, which has beef, chicken and pork. All the food comes out super fast and is ridiculously delicious. The decor is nothing fancy but when the food is this good, who cares.
Magna Pizza | Mount Hawthorn
Magna Pizza—one of our fave Freo pizza joints—has opened up in Mount Hawthorn and is dishing out their delicious (and seriously good value) pizza using natural traditional ingredients. Letting the dough rise for at least 36 hours, the pizza is sublime and extremely digestible—always a plus! Our top picks include the Poppea—4 cheeses, sage and walnuts—and the Cicerone—Bolognese sauce, mozzarella, sausages, hot salami and capsicum.
Tak Chee House
Make sure you add Tak Chee House on William Street in Northbridge to your Asian food bucket list. The team here serve up one of the best Hainanese chicken rice dishes in the whole of Perth and a load of delicious crispy noodle dishes. This some of the most authentic Malaysian we've come across in Perth and it's pretty cheap to boot.
Bayside Kitchen
Bayside Kitchen, sister to the fabulous Matilda Bay Restaurant, has just been renovated and is looking more snazzy than ever. Sit back, relax, take in the view and order one of the most epic burgers we've ever seen. If you're more of an early riser, Bayside's brekky game is strong and the pancakes are insane. Everything is fresh, vibrant and colourful and we can't get enough of this place.
Harvest Boulangerie Patisserie
We love our bread, we love our butter but most of all we love Harvest Boulangerie Patisserie in Scarborough! There's a reason people queue up outside the door here—and it's mostly because of those amazing baguettes and the heavenly smell they produce while they're baking. One bite and you’ll forget about your daily calorie intake. They also do amazing croissants and sweet treats and the coffee here is delish.
Woodpeckers
Raclette exists in Perth and it’s in Subiaco at Woodpeckers. What’s raclette you say? Just a GIANT wheel of cheese which is heated so that the melted part can be scraped off until all your cheesy dreams come true. The team here also do super delish pizzas and it is BYO so grab a bottle of wine and then go and stuff yourself full of cheesy goodness. If you want the raclette, make sure you book in advance.
Saint Larry Cafe
From the mastermind behind Halford Bar and The Standard comes one of our fave additions to Cathedral Square, Saint Larry. A hole-in-the-wall cafe at the City of Perth Library, this place is serving up epic coffee as well as sandwiches and salads that’ll blow your mind. It’s no wonder Saint Larry is a firm favourite among the city folk.
The Yoga Space | Sorrento
For a tradish yoga experience straight out of India head to The Yoga Space in Sorrento. The head yogis from this lovely little studio right on the beach offer classes in the Ashtanga led, Vinyasa and Yin styles, as well as pregnancy yoga and beginners courses. This is definitely a yoga studio with a killer view which feeds the soul.
Kafka Coffee Shop
Kafka popped up in Northbridge with their totally insta-worthy dip dyed coffee cups and stole our (Instagram) hearts. Well worth the trip to that slightly neglected side of Northbridge, the coffee is epic and you can have a browse through the design work as Kafka shares a space with (and is owned by the same creative duo as) design studio Nude Design.
Okay Vietnamese
This place should not be called ‘Okay Vietnamese’. It should be called ‘Friggen Amazing Vietnamese That’s So Good I Want To Go Every Night’. That probably won’t fit on the sign on their door though… If you try this Northbridge joint out you'll want to order the pho of course. Expect a big bowl of delicious, hearty, traditional pho for only $11.50. Pho-nomenal.
Restaurant Amusé
One of Perth’s most acclaimed restaurants, Hadleigh and Carolynne Troy sure know how to put together an innovative and flavourful degustation menu. A gastronomic marathon of fresh local produce, several different cultures and of course, limited edition wines, the food at Restaurant Amusé is quite simply, outstanding. Tucked away in a residential area of East Perth, be prepared for one of the most special meals you’ll ever tuck into.
Jack & Jill
Located in Kalamunda, Jack & Jill has some of the most beautiful and scrumptious looking dishes we've ever seen. One order of the vanilla custard soaked brioche french toast with goats cheese milk and local honeycomb and you'll be hooked. If you're more of a savoury kind of person, you'll want to try the fried chicken waffle with peanut maple, coriander, pickled jalapeños and fried egg. The guys at Jack & Jill are so amazing and friendly, you'll feel like you're right at home in their humble little abode.
Matters Of Taste
If you're hoping to level up your skills in the kitchen, look no further than Matters of Taste, an awesome Perth cooking school based in Mount Pleasant. Owner Tracey Cotterell has more than 30 years experience in the culinary industry and it shows, in fact, we're pretty convinced she's Julia Child's protege! With cooking classes spanning cuisines such as Spanish tapas, Vietnamese, dim sum and Southern American eats, we've had first-hand experience taking part in the Exceedingly Good Pies and Tarts workshop and can honestly say everything about it was exceedingly good. Check out the Matters of Taste website to see what classes they've got coming up and get ready to take your home-cooked meals to the next level—this place is definitely home to some of the best cooking classes in Perth!

Angel Falls Grill is nestled into the foodie hot spot that is Shafto Lane and is Perth’s first and only Venezuelan restaurant. If you haven’t tried Venezuelan food yet, then you need to know this: You’re missing out!!
Miss Chow’s
BBQ Pork Buns, dumplings, spring rolls and spicy chicken—errrmerrgerrddddd. Perth Chinese restaurant Miss Chow's in Claremont Quarter is a place that you will definitely return again and again. The minimalist and chic interior is gorgeous, as is the food. Expect a modern twist on Chinese classic like sticky ribs and a variety of rice and noodle dishes. A most welcome addition to the Perth dining scene we think!
The Shorehouse
Gorgeous beachside eatery, The Shorehouse in Swanbourne is one of our fave casual dining restaurants, not least because of its stunning beach views. Head chef Oliver Gould has ensured there's a Mediterranean influence on the modern Australian food he's serving up and it is glorious!
Pash Frozen Yogurt
Pash is whipping up some of Perth's best froyo and all from a mobile food truck. You can find this deliciousness at most foodie events around town and for the next few months they will have a regular spot at Elizabeth Quay. With toppings like caramel popcorn and Top Dup brownie bikkies, it's no wonder we're addicted to this stuff. Check out their Facebook or Instagram to find out where they are heading next.

The parmies are huge, the beers are cold and the pizzas are top notch at The Wembley Hotel. Go and watch a game of footy on the big screen or head down on a week night to snap up some cheap eats and a drink or two.

Tucked away in Subiaco, The Village Bar is the perfect place to go for a delish no-fuss meal and a drink or two.
Michael Brothers
Cold pressed juice lovers, Michael Brothers have been in the industry since early 2012 and can't get enough out of the fruity stuff! Make sure you check our their range of flavours—we love the Watermelon Crush and Ginger Tonic. Found all around Perth, head to the Michael Brothers website to find out where to buy these beauties.
Door 49
Door 49 is located in the heart of Perth's CBD on the super trendy King Street. This rad bar has an incredible drinks menu and a few little bar snacks that will make you drool (triple cooked chips with kimchi mayo and roast duck spring rolls please). Door 49 is the perfect place to head for after work drinks to get a cocktail that will knock your socks off!
Dutch Trading Co
Home to one of Perth's best craft beer selections and the most incredible spread of Dutch-influenced food, Victoria Park's Dutch Trading Co (or DTC for short) is the raddest place in town. Their industrial inspired interior (with the grandest of bars) is exactly what you want for some weekend pre-drinks. They have live music every now and then and always have the DJ beats going. Huzzahhhh!
Chinta
This giant North Perth cafe turned Bali style gift store is the most relaxing place to go for an all day breakfast. Walk into the cafe and you're instantly hit with that tropical island vibe and we can't get enough! Grab a table surrounded by bamboo plants and mini buddha statues and then stroll around to find the perfect gift for yourself to take home. We love Chinta!
Lord Of The Fries
Lord Of The Fries in Perth churn out some of the most mouth-wateringly crispy fries we've ever tasted. Topped with equally as delectable sauces, the Perth store also serves vegetarian burgers, hot dogs, nuggets and onion rings. On top of being a completely vegan fast food joint, Lord Of The Fries is kosher, halal and preservative free, with low gluten options to boot.
Chimek | Northbridge
After absolutely killing it at the Freo markets, Chimek have brought their fried chicken goodness to Northbridge, huzzah! Their fried chicken is out of this world, but they also do a killer burger and green matcha cheesecake that'll knock your socks off.
Restaurant Gangnam
If Korean eats are your jam, you're going to want to head to Restaurant Gangnam at the Waterford Plaza shopping centre in Karawara. Serving incredible Korean goodies like bibimbap and fried chicken, we go crazy for their beef jap chae—sweet potato glass noodles with bulgogi (marinated beef)—as well as the cheese bul dak, which tastes a lot like a barbecue chicken pizza without the base. Whether you like making your own dinner Korean BBQ style or having it served up on piping hot sizzle plates, you'll love this place!
The Globe
Punters can expect colonial charm, merged with modern interior design at The Globe in Perth's 140 precinct. The menu features fresh, seasonal and boutique ingredients and the drinks list is updated seasonally to reflect the changing food menu.
The Cat Cafe
If you’re in need of some cat cuddles but can't commit to taking one home The Cat Cafe in Subiaco is your answer. You'll need to book in advance—they only allow up to 15 people in there at one time—and then you can hang with all the fuzzy felines until your heart's content (or until your time is up). So all you crazy cat ladies (and gents) can come out from your hiding places because there is nothing to be ashamed of here! The Cat Cafe serve human treats too, including coffee, muffins, cookies and raw goodies, with part proceeds going to Animal Welfare. How awesome is that?!
Honey Beanz
The simple yet modern interiors at Subiaco cafe Honey Beanz won't be the only thing that'll draw you into this little place. The Subi gem is dishing up some sublime coffee and if you're sitting down for a bite to eat, the Korean bim bim bap burger with sweet potato fries is the way to go! The apple bircher muesli with yoghurt, blueberry compote and toasted coconut is also a treat!
Little Hush
Little Hush is not your standard hole in the wall cafe. This charming Fremantle gem has a friendly team dedicated to helping you on your never-ending quest for a sublime coffee experience. Although small, this vibin' hispter cafe does have some benches and crates to sit on while you sip your brew and nibble on their tasty tarts, toasties or muffins! If you're looking for something more substantial, head down the road to their big sister store Hush Speciality Coffee.
Chatford & Co Cafe
There’s a reason Chatford & Co in Kalamunda has people raving. Rockpool’s ex-head pastry chef Gavin Chater opened the doors to this quaint little cafe and is wowing everyone with the delish food which ranges from bacon and egg doughnuts to date-night-worthy pork belly. If you find yourself here at breakfast, we recommend adding the oven roasted mushrooms to your order!
Slate Cafe
Slate Cafe in the Swan Valley is on to a winning formula. With a former Nobu chef at the helm, they're dishing up mod-Oz dishes with an Asian influence—think chilli prawn omelettes, delicious beef pho, Vietnamese beef stew as well as all your usual brekky options. They've also got a huge outdoor area where you can pull up a picnic rug and sit back and relax and there is even a dog playground for your pup!
MOP Donuts
MOP Donuts in Leederville serve spiked doughnuts to the masses seven days a week. Are you drunk with excitement yet? Tucked right next door to The Meatball Bar, the doughy, brioche-style balls of goodness are all made on premises (hence the name) and flavoured with delicious elixirs like espresso martini, Baileys, Cointreau and gin. MOP Donuts also dish out doughnut burgers, tipsy burgers (we like the sound of that), ice cream doughnuts, freak shakes and boozy shakes. Holy moly!
Rice Baby
Rice Baby is sitting pretty in the spot that was once the Oriel Cafe and Subi Doo in Subiaco. The space is looking better than ever—light, bright and full of greenery—but it's the modern Asian eats and amazing drinks menu that have got us hooked. Think roast duck bao paired with the Rice Rice Baby cocktail—oolong sugar syrup, rice wine and aperol—or bang bang chicken with a nice big glass of wine. The dumplings are also a must try, and for the teetotalers in your group, the crew here are also shaking up some tasty mocktails! Nice.
Nasi Lemak Korner | Mosman Park
After huge success in Como, Nasi Lemak Korner has opened their second restaurant in Mosman Park for the Perth foodies in search of the fresh, tasty and vibrant Malaysian street food flavours. While everything on the menu is good, the stars of the show are the roti canai and the tender, spicy beef rendang. The vibrant, modern and stylish interior is the perfect place to settle in for lunch or dinner.
The Clean Food Store
The Clean Food Store in Shenton Park is the place to go when you want to drown yourself in wholefoods, organic produce and pretty much all of the healthy and delicious food in the world. You will be immediately satisfied when you see the perfect rows of bulk foods and pretty packages (OCD happiness) and you'll wish you cleaned out the boot of your car, because you'll be filling it with bags after a trip to The Clean Food Store.
Altruist Specialty Coffee Brewers
Adding to the list of amaze-balls cafes north of the river, Altruist Specialty Coffee Brewers in Mount Hawthorn is up there with some of the best! With the happiest baristas we've ever seen—seriously, they smile for days—and stocking Top Dup doughnuts, what more could you ask for? Their simple yet homey setup always feels so comforting and the fact that we can buy our own Proud Mary Coffee Beans makes it even better. They've got a variety of naughty and nice foodie treats, but who wants healthy when you can have cream filled brownies? ammirightt?!
Is Donburi | Newcastle Street
The bento boxes at Is Donburi are next level and one of the many reasons why we love this little Japanese gem. The staff may always be run off their feet with miso and sushi orders during the busy lunch period, but the presentation is always on point and the food is always tasty. They've opened up a second joint on Newcastle Street to satisfy your Jap needs so no need to queue up at the original anymore!
Raw + More
Tucked behind a store front on Hay St, you’d be forgiven for missing Raw + More if you didn’t know about it, but head down the laneway off Outram Street behind ANZ and you’ll be very pleased with yourself for finding this hidden gem. Serving great coffee, smoothies, and cold pressed juices plus breakfast, lunch and plenty of raw treats, this is one place all health foodies should add to their hit list.
Balcatta Growers Fresh
Balcatta Growers Fresh is run by family, everything is fresh and they have a footlong continental roll.... just stop. This is your one stop shop for antipasto, pasta, paninis, lunchtime goodies and so much meat and fresh veggies. Make sure you take an extra big shopping bag! You'll need it.
Gesha Coffee Co
Gesha Coffee Co is dishing out some of THE best coffee in Fremantle (and probably in the whole of Perth). They've got the coffee roasting thing down pat and their brunch menu is to die for. If you can't make it to Freo during the day, don't despair, Gesha is open for dinner too! Everything on the menu sounds scrumptious, but we're particularly excited about the grilled halloumi with pumpkin and dukkah and the coffee rubbed beef cheek. Hot tip: get the coffee pannacotta for dessert!

These guys even have a range of homemade gelato's to enjoy in the sand!
