Aucklanders, you’re in for a treat. The Auckland museum is set to host the tallest LEGO brick model in all of the Southern Hemisphere as part of the Brickman Awesome LEGO exhibition.
Who said LEGO is just for kids? Whoever they are, they’re wrong. From basic beginnings, LEGO creations have evolved over the years to everything from technic sports cars, Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle sets, a replica of the Taj Mahal and even a Star Wars Death Star Replica. If only there was somewhere we could check out some of the craziest lego creations around…
Well lucky for us, a huge LEGO exhibition is coming to Auckland Museum for a limited time where you can see some of the biggest LEGO creations up close and personal. Brickman Awesome: Epic Lego creations is a brand new exhibition by LEGO Certified Professional, Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught.
The designs include a towering NASA rocket that'll be the tallest lego brick model in the southern hemisphere at 7.5 metres tall and is made of more than 450,000 bricks. Designs will also include a life-sized LEGO Harley Davidson bike, the largest ever LEGO caterpillar 797 dump truck and a three-metre long Antonov 225 aeroplane. Come and have a gawp.
