Not that you need reminding, but during lockdown cocktails were DIY, you couldn’t nip to Bunnings for craft supplies and life was neither funny nor fabulous. Paintvine is here with the antidote to all of the above—Dragvine.
If you can’t picture painting and drag mixing, this debut event is here to prove you wrong in all the best ways. Hosted by NZ’s very own Kita Mean and Anita Wiglet, these drag queens are even more fun than the alcohol in your drink. They bring the saucy humour, the flamboyant dancing, and the paint too.
No need to be Van Gogh, you’ll be guided step by step through the painting process with plenty of breaks for drinks, games, and a little razzle dazzle. Your paint will helpfully be kept topped up, there’s a bar to do the same for your drinks and the queens will keep the laughter rolling.
Tickets for the first event in August are already sold out and tickets for September and October are selling fast.
