Style Up And Head Down To Queenstown’s Secret Garden Pop Up

Get ready because Queenstown’s best-kept secret is back this summer and better than ever.

You heard it here first, one of Queenstown’s most iconic hidden courtyards—sunny, sheltered, and the perfect spot to indulge in a summery tipple has transformed into a gorgeous secret garden

Every Friday and Saturday afternoon this summer, head to the Crowne Plaza’s Tropicana-themed courtyard for weekend shenanigans and after work drinks. The lakefront hotel is one of our favourite places to spend a few hours, especially while its awash with colour and trendy decor.

Think instagrammable pink flamingos, astro turf, sun loungers and bunting paired with delicious ‘pretty in pink’ cocktails like Gordon’s pink gins and refreshing Pimms cups with popsicles. There’s another a berry vodka popsicle and gin-based frozen watermelon, perfect for those long summer days.

On the menu, you’ll find braised pork belly buns, Mandu dumplings and Korean fried chicken, just for starters. There’s also live music from 4:30 to 7:30pm, ideal for beginning your weekend in style before carrying on elsewhere.

Those visiting Queenstown will feel like they’re in the know when it comes to this cool new hot spot that’s serving up some of the best drinks in town. It’s also a fantastic option for local businesses who are looking for somewhere to host their end of year function (the space is available throughout the week) and the Crowne Plaza is partnering with local jet boat company, Kjet to offer three packages with a range of catering options and a one-hour jet boat ride. Sounds like a pretty sweet Christmas ‘do to us.

Head along to the Secret Garden all summer long. It’s on until February and set to be one of Queenstown’s top experiences during the summer months.
