Get ready, Aucklanders, our favourite night market is back and it's better than ever.
Victoria Park is set to again host all the goodness that is the Night Noodle Markets and they have just released their all-important menu and map to help you plot what to hit up first.
The pop-up market celebrates only the best of Asian street-style food with live entertainment—think bold, loud and eye-catching. And, of course, double the noodles... yes, please! Beyond the squiggly, slurpy cuisine you can also expect other Asian-inspired faves like fluffy bao, juicy dumplings, freshly barbecued meats and of course decadent desserts.
This year you can expect a couple of Aussie legends to make an appearance. Hoy Pinoy's smokin' BBQ skewers and Gelato Messina's Thai full moon gelato party-themed dessert menu are exclusive to the Night Noodle Markets and therefore the only place in NZ that you'll get your hands on them. Sydney-sider Puffle will also be making its Auckland debut slinging drool-worthy Korean fried chicken cheese waffles and also puffle desserts.
Entry to the Night Noodle Market is free and all ages are welcome, so whether you make a night of it with the significant other or the fam, make sure you do. And, if you want to bring your best friend (aka your dog) you're more than welcome to (though Fido needs to be on a leash). What's not to be excited about?! Dishes range from $5 - $20 and beverages will be served in recyclable cans and 100% recycled plastic bottles.
Running for ten days, from November 29 to December 8, this authentic market is bringing the goods—dumplings, curries and undoubtedly a whole lotta noodles.
