If you’re looking to add a bit of magic to your week, we have news for you. Get excited, because Bright Nights Festival is on the return. We’re talking bright, neon lights illuminating the harbour, dancing atop the water, accompanied by numerous art installations and entertaining performances.
Last year saw the festival in its second year, with stunning light shows, artwork and entertainment, it attracted more than 68,000 visitors.
This year, Bright Nights expect some 100,000 visitors to the immersive event. Once again, the festival is led by Auckland-based architect and designer Angus Muir, known for transforming spaces into hypnotising interactive experiences. The luminescent trail will now form an entire loop around the whole harbour.
