Global climate strike

It’s pretty hard to avoid news about the sorry state of planet Earth these days, but in case you’ve been in a media blackout, there’s a huge Global Climate Strike kicking off this Friday 27 September, and we’re asking you to join us out there on the streets as we send a message to the government that it’s time to take action after the UN Climate Action summit on 23 September.

Whether you can only get out there on your lunch break or you’re able to skip work, school or uni for a few hours, it’s time to band together and show this planet how much we love it—those emails can wait. And if your boss needs extra convincing, send them here and they should get the message pretty soon that things aren't business as usual.

Here’s where you can turn up for what matters this Friday in a city near you.

Wellington

Official proceedings kick off from 11am with the march down Lambton Quay to Parliament starting at around 11.50am.
