We know you’re thirsty for epic entertainment content considering that it’s now 70% of what our weekends are made up of. So, we’re pretty stoked to inform you that Killing Eve is returning for a third season way earlier than originally planned.
That’s right, the entertainment gods have heard your cries and although we were originally told it wouldn’t be hitting our screens until 26 April, it’s been fast tracked straight from the US, meaning we can get our Eve Polastri and Villanelle fix as early as Monday 13 April on TVNZ On Demand.
For those who forgot (warning: spoiler alert), season two ended on a dramatic cliff-hanger with Russian assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer) shooting MI5 intelligence agent Eve (Sandra Oh) and leaving her for dead amongst ancient ruins in Rome—so chic!
So, is Eve really gone? What we can scope from the newly released trailer is that it looks like Eve is still alive and Villanelle has no idea, instead she’s upping her murder for hire game and thankfully, she’s still rocking incredible outfits. We also learn that favourites, Carolyn Martens (Fiona Shaw) and Konstantin (Kim Bodnia) return to shake things up.
With only two short weeks until we can once again fall in the world of murder, lies and spies, you have ample opportunity to re-watch last season. Trust us, you’ll appreciate the refresher when this bombshell season kicks off. Thankfully TVNZ On Demand have it ready and waiting for your bingeing pleasure, here.
Until then, enjoy the insane trailer for season three below.
