With news dropping this week that The Handmaid’s Tale season four will commence filming this March, our curiosity on the future of Gilead has only increased tenfold.
But rather than wait for the new season to drop (no word on the release date as yet) why not go straight to the source? The creator of The Handmaid’s Tale and our newest fave, The Testaments, Margaret Atwood is headed to our shores for a national tour.
In Conversation with Margaret Atwood will span the breadth of Atwood’s remarkable career, her diverse range of works and why, in the Booker Award winning The Testaments, she has returned to her seminal story, 34 years later.
The discussion, followed by a Q&A with one of the biggest authors of her generation, kicks off in New Zealand on 10 Feb, hitting Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch before stopping in Sydney for not one but two sessions on 16 and 17 February, followed by Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Hobart and finishing in Perth on 1 March.
