It's perfect for that much needed mid-week wine, a date night pre-dinner drink or even a catch up with that long lost friend from high school that you never get to see! Any excuse...right? The setting is quaint and relaxed with indoor and outdoor seating. Why not get a Flipside burger delivered to you too, they are right next door after all? Now there's a plan! 

Let’s face it, we’re all time poor, but what if we told you it’s possible to burn up to 800 calories in a 45 minute workout? At LA Fit Studio in Subiaco this is possible, thanks to the Lagree method. Think Pilates on steroids and you’re halfway there. The Lagree method combines strength, endurance, cardiovascular, balance, flexibility and core training into a full body workout. LA Fit Studio will have you feeling sculpted in no time at all (after the shakes have worn off).

There’s no shortage of good coffee along the Leederville strip and cute, Scandinavian-style Perth cafe, FOAM Coffee Bar is no exception. Their 5 Senses brews pack a serious punch and is complemented by a brekky menu that boasts a huge range of healthy (and not so healthy) offerings. Pop in for a coffee or grab a table out the front and settle in for a feed and some good ol’ fashioned people watching.

The crew behind the much-loved Freo health haven, The Raw Kitchen, have reopened as Mother—an ode to Mother Earth—with the name change including a complete revamped fit-out, menu and drinks list which is teeming with natural wine and delicious non-alcoholic options.

For all of the carbs head to Lawley’s Bakery Cafe on Beaufort Street in Mount Lawley. Lawley’s cakes, bread and pastries are all hand made on site, and the Arabica coffee is freshly roasted. A popular spot for the breakfast and lunch crew, Lawley’s have recently introduced a high tea to their repertoire.

If you’re in the mood for a decadent cake, you really can’t go past Perth café Rochelle Adonis in Highgate. The name Rochelle Adonis goes hand in hand with incredible, tasty sweets, and has become a household name in Perth for fancy high tea and beautiful wedding cakes. They promise every bite is a moment of deliciousness and they aint wrong! Their signature chocolate cake is rich, dark and dense, layered with dark chocolate and whiskey vanilla bean syrup…and absolutely irresistible. Pop in and take a seat at the communal table to enjoy a sweet treat, book a unique high tea experience, indulge in a dessert degustation or try one of their famed cooking classes – you’ll be glad you did!

Fashion, homewares, art and tea come out to play at Perth boutique, tú in Northbridge. With clothes and homewares at the front of the shop, a gallery space in the stairwell and tea for tú, a delicious little tea spot, tucked down the back, tú have created a cultural oasis in the heart of Perth. Brands stocked at tú include Alice McCall, Milk & Thistle and Status Anxiety.

We say life is too short for bad coffee. Perth cafe Two Rubens Espresso in Freo think so too. This cute and rustic café has a relaxed vibe perfect for a slow start to the morning. A small range of counter-top treats are available, alongside small eats including soft and runny poached eggs; and cheese and paprika toasties.

Perth gourmet grocer, Kakulas Brothers in Northbridge have all of the things! It's no surprise these guys have been around since 1929—while the chocolate covered raspberries have our hearts, Kakulas Brothers’ specialty has to be their range of by-the-kilo spices, grains, coffee beans and seeds. They also stock all of those hard-to-find specialty ingredients, an epic selection of international foods and cold meats for days. Let’s just say you’ll leave with more than what’s on your shopping list.

Let’s face it, yoga pants are the new jeans and when you’re in the market for a new pair head to ONCE Upon a Run in Claremont. Though these guys only open up shop on Thursday night and Saturday, they're definitely worth a visit. The crew here stock an envy-inducing range of activewear which will help to raise your street cred tenfold. ONCE Upon a Run also have an online shop to satisfy your shopping needs, whatever the hour.

Cancel your next Bali holiday, it turns out you only need to visit Onyesha Spa Pinelake in Mariginiup for a slice of paradise. Set on ten acres of land, Onyesha Spa Pinelake has got everything you need for a tranquil escape from lakes and gardens to waterfalls. And that’s before you take into account the amazing spa treatments, facilities and packages on offer. Our pick would have to be a stint in their Rainforest Sauna, plonked right next to a stream you’ll feel relaxed in not time. Only five minutes from Joondalup, Onyesha Spa Pinelake is definitely worth a visit.

Inspired by nature, Bodhi J in Wembley is one of our fave day spas in Perth. The crew here offer a full suite of spa treatments for men and women using all organic products from Sodashi and Li'tya. If you’re looking to bliss out, the Spa Journey packages are where it’s at. Our pick would have to be the seven hour-long Bodhi’s Nature Escape package because we’re greedy like that. 

Possibly one of Perth’s most lusted after hair salons, viva la blonde believe being blonde is a way of life and not just a hair colour. As the name would suggest, these guys have blonde down to a fine art, from golden blonde to dirty blonde and any hue in between.

Crown Spa Perth is the go to place for all your beauty and wellness needs. Housed in Crown Towers, Crown Spa Perth offers some incredibly indulgent spa treatments and packages, as well as a hair salon, fitness classes, a gym and pool. Take a Pilates class, unwind afterwards by the pool and then bliss out with a spa treatment. You’ll feel like a new person! Check out the website for salon and gym opening times.

Cute, light-filled and always buzzing, Perth cafe Hobart Deli is the sort of cafe everyone hopes to have in their neighbourhood. Brekky is available until 2pm and there's also a huge display cabinet with tasty-looking sandwiches, quiches, bagels and vegetarian goodies on offer. Pop in for a coffee or take your Mum there for lunch, this little cafe is one of our faves.

The friendly boys down at buzzy Perth cafe, Engine Room Espresso in North Perth are serving up some of the best brews north of the river. Take a seat in the cute courtyard and pair your coffee with a RAWsome treat and you've got yourself a bangin' start to the day. There's also a small selection of breakfast options to keep you going - we highly recommend the banana bread.

If your body is in need of a little TLC head to North Fremantle's LIVe Pilates. One of the best Pilates studios in Perth, LIVe offers matwork, reformer, stretch and barre classes. Plus, they've got a physio on-site which means your bod will be in rockin’ shape in no time at all. LIVe Pilates is also the leading Stott Pilates and Total Barre training facility in Perth, so if you’ve ever thought about becoming a Pilates instructor this is the place to go.

The Mind Body Heart Store in Wembley is your wellness one-stop-shop. Offering a range of classes, events and products, The Mind Body Heart Store will have your mind, body and soul whipped into shape in no time. If you’re up for something a little different, why not give a chakradance class a go. Yoga, Pilates, meditation and cooking classes are offered at this awesome Perth studio, and remember to keep an eye on their website for information on upcoming events.

Described as yoga with a touch of rock ‘n’ roll, Yogaworx in Swanbourne have created a yogi community that anyone would want to be a part of. Offering classes from hot yoga, to your regular Vinyasa and Yin practice, there is something to suit people of all levels, preferences and abilities. If you’re looking to take your practice a little further, Yogaworx offer retreats throughout the year in Broome, Bali and Canal Rocks.

Pure Moves in Cottesloe have your washboard abs sorted. Both reformer and mat Pilates, as well as Barre, Power Plate, HIIT and TRX are all offered at this Perth studio. If you’re time-poor, opt for a Power Plate session, a 30-minute highly effective workout performed on a vibrating platform with results equivalent to a 60-minute workout.

Perth organic store Nature's Harvest in Cottesloe has your health sorted. Tucked away on Napoleon Street, the team at this little feel-good spot are all about the body, mind and spirit. Nature's Harvest serve up delicious bites and juices daily, they also stock a great range of health foods and there is a natural therapy clinic on-site. Keep your eyes peeled on their website for information on upcoming events and workshops.

An eclectic and unique, yet homely Perth Restaurant, West End Deli is the sort of bistro everyone wishes they had in their neighbourhood. The creative menus are not your typical fare – think Wagin free range duck with ricotta dumplings, carrot and duck tea, or Plantagenet slow-cooked pork neck with enoki, cannellini and crab. West End Deli's bread and pastries are made in-house, and the baguettes are not-to-be-missed. Owners Justin and Christine Peters have thrown their hearts into this venture on Carr Street and it shows. This little West Perth gem serves breakfast and lunch Monday to Sunday, and dinner Thursday to Saturday.

A passion for food shines through in every meal and steaming cup of coffee served at Perth cafe, Sayers. Always crazy busy, this Leederville local is hip but not pretentious, modern yet effortlessly classic. With a cosy feel, eclectic décor and an always evolving menu featuring locally sourced produce, you'll want to come back time and time again. Famous for their hearty brekkies, they also serve a mean lunch and offer a drool-worthy range of sweet treats. A Leedy fave!

A short distance up Oxford Street away from the Leederville crowds, is the tiny but incredibly cute Perth cafe, Pixel Coffee Brewers. Full of retro-vintage charm and decorated in pretty pastel hues, what this Perth café lacks in size it more than makes up for in character. Beautiful, fresh breakfasts featuring roast pumpkin, smashed avocado, thickly sliced breads and perfectly poached eggs are complemented by incredible aromatic coffee, while lunch options include a delish range of salads, tasty soups, pulled pork sandwiches and artsy herb pastry galettes. You’ll feel a sugar high coming on from just looking at the amazing layer cakes, but with flavours like chocolate and peanut butter, and white chocolate and rose, you’d be mad not to indulge.

Leederville's favourite Spanish tapas bar, Pinchos Bar De Tapas, is alive, thriving, and dishing up darn good food. This corner-store-meets-eatery is serving up delicious Spanish delicacies all week long, and the food comes in the incredible form of little and large tapas consisting of the finest meats, cheeses and so much more. 

Perth cafe Vans is the go-to hangout spot for Cottesloe locals. Whether you're after coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner, Vans has you covered. With a classic but quality menu, the food is always good here. Nab yourself an outside table and Vans will offer you some pretty sweet Napoleon Street people watching too.

A funky little espresso bar in the art deco surrounds of Trinity Arcade, Mo Espresso has some serious street cred with Perth’s coffee club. Their coffee is pretty dang respectable (they serve Five Senses) but the tasty treats are really guaranteed to bowl you over - think sensational doughnuts from Top Dup (strawberry, black pepper and balsamic doughnut anyone?), bagels from the Holy Bagel Company and toasties from Pope Joan Sandwiches. Sadly, you can’t be guaranteed that your barista will have an impressive mo… but hey, that's a small price to pay.

If it's not the doughnuts, the fried chicken with buttermilk pancakes is about all that is needed to convince you to stop by Mary Street Bakery.

A long-time favourrite with Cottesloe locals, John Street Cafe is like your favourite pair of PJs in Perth cafe form—homely and comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and take-away options are all available. Whether you pop in for a coffee after your morning stroll or stay for a feed and a read of the paper, the friendly folks at John Street Cafe have got the goods to make your day.

Nestled into a leafy pocket of West Leederville, Perth cafe Hylin’s friendly staff and easy-going vibe make this intimate cafe the sort of unpretentious hangout everyone hopes will open in their neighbourhood. 

Little Willys is a Northbridge cafe with a big ole' heart. A simple and comforting breakfast and lunch menu and an equally quaint art-filled space make for a cafe with soul. Drop in for a coffee or stay for a meal, Little Willys' got the goods to make your morning. Heads up: Little Willys is cash only (told you it was quaint).

Short Order (FKA Short Order Burger Co) has gained a legion of gushing fans thanks to their squishy brioche buns and juicy patties. And thankfully, after leaving their Mantle spot, they've returned to Freo with their brand new, spacious, fully licensed digs on William Street.

Easily one of Perth’s favourite foodie haunts, Brika, a buzzy Stirling Street mezze bar, is all about enjoying delicious Greek food and drinks in the company of your family and friends. Everything on the menu is designed to be shared but get in quick, when the crispy spanakopita, cheesy saganaki and melt-in-your-mouth slow-cooked lamb hit your lips you won't want to share.

Firmly entrenched in the hip William Street gang, the uber-cool Bivouac serves up delicious Eastern-style fare that is perfect for sharing and always hits the spot. Open from lunch til late every day from Tuesday til Saturday, this Northbridge restaurant also doubles as a gallery showcasing the work of local artists on the walls.

Hot diggity dog! Those of you yet to experience the amazingness that is Run Amuk Hotdogs should get yo' selves to this South Freo hot spot ASAP. Using high quality, locally-made bratwurst snags, these hotdogs aren't your usual bread-snag-onions fare. The extensive menu dishes out delights like The Jezabel - a premium bratwurst sausage with sweet chili mayo, cheddar, crispy bacon, pineapple, coriander and a red chili salsa topped with shredded coconut. They’ve got cute little booths for a relaxed date night or bigger tables to take your mates for a cheap night out.

Perched on top of Ruck Rover in Northbridge, Yoga Alchemy is a hip little studio with a big heart. Wake-up in Northbridge with their Rise and Shine class or shake up your practice in an Experiment Vinyasa class. Yoga Alchemy also offer courses, private and corporate classes as well as packages for brides-to-be. If you want to beef up your practice with some extra sessions at home, you can download their Shine package from their website (for a small fee of course).

Always wanted to be a ballerina but lacked the elegance and grace? Xtend Barre Perth could be your schtick. Combining muscle toning movements inspired by Pilates and ballet, toned abs and buns are just a few plies away. Conveniently located on trendy King Street, the sun-filled studios at Xtend Barre Perth are a far cry from many of the smelly gyms we’re used to.  Hot tip: don’t forget to bring your grippy socks!

Make the most of Perth’s sunny clime and take your asana up a level at Rooftop Yoga in Northbridge. Open for a limited time each year, this outdoorsy vinyasa practice led by Laura Carroll from Northbridge Yoga is a summer must do. The early morning classes will jump-start your day, one sun salutation at a time. Check Rooftop Yoga's website for their schedule.

You’ll recognise Perth cafe, Spring Espresso in Subiaco by their gorgeous pops of bright red décor, but you'll remember them for their great coffee and service. The crew here offer a unique house blend, single origins and drip coffee, all in a stylish and welcoming setting. There’s a small but tasty menu featuring muffins, slices and a good ol’ smashed avocado brekky, and their cheeky blackboard drawings are sure to make you smile.

There really is nothing that tops freshly baked bread ammiright? Perth hole-in-the-wall bakehouse, Wild Bakery in Freo serves up a delightful range of classic French patisserie favourites, made fresh in store. Their sourdoughs are baked using traditional fermenting methods, making them easier to digest than a lot of other breads, with a variety of added tasty bits including toasted sesame seeds, sprouted quinoa, Kalamata olives, spelt and roasted hazelnuts. Grab a loaf for home, and enjoy a cup of coffee with a bronut – a soft, buttery brioche donut filled with a different filling each week (think chocolate, salted caramel, blueberry and lemon curd, just to name a few). The shop is open from 6am every day.

Follow the takeaway coffee cups with the neon green lids to this industrial chic coffee house on King Street. Exposed brick and lashings of wood create a relaxing urban atmosphere for the savvy King Street crowd. Five Senses coffee and a delectable food menu are further proof that Perth cafe, La Veen knows its inner-city audience well. Our tip: get the potato rosti.

Located in the leafy suburb of West Leederville, Piccolo's Corner is quaint, cute and the food is spot-on. This gem of a cafe pumps out great coffee and delish eats and takes friendly service to a whole new level, despite the fact they're always busy. In fact, sitting down at a table at Piccolo's feels like you're going over to your neighbours house for a cup of coffee and a good chinwag...if you're lucky enough you may even catch the fact of the day from Grandad Richard!

Adding to the list of hole-in-the-wall coffee spots in Perth is Northbridge cafe BOO Espresso. Attached to a warehouse, this friendly little nook serves up really good coffee and light eats. BOO Espresso also serve up ‘puppacinos’ to keep your furry friend happy while you’re getting your morning caffeine fix. Naww.

Set within an old horse stables in Perth city, The Stables Bar aren't horsing around when it comes to the food and drink. You'll find honest, seasonal and hearty eats designed to be shared among friends and enjoyed with The Stables carefully crafted cocktails or sophisticated wines.

If Perth burger joint Johnny’s Burgers in Canning Vale isn't already high on your best burgers list, they will be once you’ve visited. With some of the most authentic American-style burgers this side of the equator, the crew at Johnny’s has also got American meal sizing down pat. And with curly fries, milkshakes, cheese sticks and wings, your US fiesta is complete.

The gang from Perth burger joint, Missy Moos Gourmet Burger Bar promise good times and great burgers. They also know a thing or two about nursery rhymes having named all of their burgers after them. Your inner child will feel right at home at this friendly little South Freo burger joint, with cutesy drawings on the walls and creaming soda spiders on the menu. Top picks for burgers include the Jack and Jill, Two Little Dickie Birds and The Cow Jumped Over The Moon.

Stop whatever you’re doing and head straight to Perth cafe Flo Espresso for a kimchi and cheese toasted sandwich. It’s possibly the most delicious toastie we have ever tasted. Flo Espresso also serve some pretty scrummy Korean street food, along with coffee and a delectable couverture hot chocolate if you’re after something a little sweeter. Top Dup doughnuts also feature at this lovely little hole in the wall.

The Brisbane Hotel in Highgate is an iconic Perth pub that we love for just about any occasion. Enjoy a cosy dinner inside or join your mates in the beer garden for one of Perth's best Sunday sessions. The friendly staff dish out yummy pub grub every day of the week and you can even bring your dog. 

Rustic little Perth cafe, Harvest Espresso, serve up some of the most creative and colourful plates of food that we have seen in Perth. They'll have you lusting after everything coming out of the kitchen and you're sure to have food envy for days. The small but innovative menu ensures this tiny gem stands out from the ever-growing herd of Victoria Park cafes. Along with the locally roasted Vittoria Coffee, their matcha, red and chai lattes will have you questioning your coffee addiction. Harvest Espresso don't accept bookings so get in early!

For real, fast and simple Italian food, Perth pasta joint Tommy Sugo in Nedlands takes the cake. 30 years in the making, Tommy Sugo’s pasta recipes are out of this world, and their sauces are made with fresh, local ingredients and Italian authenticity in tact. To keep health-nuts happy, Tommy’s also offer up healthy alternatives, including spelt and gluten free options, as well as zucchini and sweet potato pasta. Italians love their caffeinated beverages, which is why these guys also grind up their very own blend of coffee. Grazie!

Named after an unsuccessful secession movement to extricate our sunny state from the rest of the Commonwealth, the crew from Perth bar, The Dominion League are proud of the West Aussie way of life, but keen to lay the political past of the old league to rest. With a wood fire upstairs and velvet clad booths in the basement, it’s very easy to nestle in and get cosy at this Perth bar. Add a few cocktails and some tasty share plates into the mix and you’ve got the makings for the best night ever.

Tucked into William Street in Northbridge, fi & co is a Perth vintage staple. But vintage isn’t all there is to write home about at fi & co, they also stock some cute vintage inspired clothes, shoes and accessories.

Aptly named after their grandparents, the sister-owners of Meg and Wally have created a homely boutique in West Leederville. Stocked with stylish, quirky homewears and gifts, you’ll also find Australian labels like Auguste the label, Elka Collective, Rosefield Watches and Superga. The girls from Meg and Wally will even pour you a cup of T2 tea while you peruse their wares.

For more designer goods than you can throw your money at, head to Perth boutique CULTSTATUS in Perth. King Street’s cool status is largely due to this multi-designer boutique which stocks the coolest handbags, shoes and accessories you’ll find in Perth. It’s basically all the stuff fashion bloggers wear in one super cool place; what more could a girl want?

If you’ve still got Ikea prints hanging on your walls it’s probably time to head to Perth gallery, Outré in Northbridge. These guys stock some of the most amazeballs art you’ll find in Perth and they are always keeping things fresh. From pop surrealism and tiki to modern folk and underground art, there is something to suit everyone at Outré Gallery. You’ll also find books, magazines, homewares and toys.

High on the list of our favourite burgers in Perth is East Victoria Park’s V Burger Bar. The friendly crew that run this joint cook up some of the tastiest burgers and their battered chips and onion rings never fail to satisfy! Our fave burgers are the Vish (fish), the V Teriyaki Chicken and the Piggy Back (with off-the-bone pork ribs), #drool.

Head to Generics in Northbridge for a Perth shopping experience like no other.
