If you survived the Ticketmaster wars and managed to secure a spot for Oasis this weekend (or even if you missed out), BrewDog South Eveleigh is the place to hit for your pregame.
From 4pm both Friday and Saturday, there'll be an Oasis takeover on the decks—and it's only a quick trot to Redfern Station (so you can carry the vibes with you all the way to Sydney Olympic Park).
2 For $30 Aperol Spritz In Barangaroo

For the entire month of November, the streets of Barangaroo are celebrating summer with live music, DJ's, and 2 for $30 Aperol Spritz. 23 venues are joining in the party, including GINA, recently reopened ZUSHI, Born by Tapavino, Barangaroo House, Crown Sydney’s Woodcut, a’Mare and Icebergs Harbour Bar.
There will also be curated Aperitivo menus at participating restaurants and bars—so you can take spritz hour to the next level with a host of exclusive small plates and antipasto offerings. We recommend bringing a mate or a date to enjoy a spritz in the sun (or just drink them both yourself—why not).
Affordable Art Fair

Running over four big days from November 6 to 9, the Affordable Art Fair is relocating to its new home at Carriageworks, kicking off the Summer Program at Erskineville's iconic industrial-site-come-cultural-hub. Visitors will be able to peruse offerings from more than 65 galleries under one roof, representing hundreds of exciting and inspiring contemporary artists.
With thousands of original works up for sale from both established and emerging artists all priced between $100 and $10,000 (with a whole bunch under $1000 and $500), there’ll be something to satisfy every budget.
Battle of the Bands at The Mona

The Mona is kicking off a month of live music this weekend, with Battle of the Bands taking the stage every Friday. Over the next 4 weeks, 12 up-and-coming bands will compete for the top spot.
This Friday, you’ll be hearing from Hour Language, Josh Evans, Bangalley, and Garage Noise—a stacked lineup of local talent that are all bringing a different vibe and sound to the table. It’s free to enter, just bring a purse for your bar tab and get ready to boogie.
Ramen At Saké

Saké's flagship menu is getting steamy for lunch—ramen will now be available at The Rocks venue daily. House-made broths are slow-simmered with kombu and vegetables, heavy on umami flavours and depth. There'll be three bowls to test out, and we promise to turn a blind eye if you start cycling them throughout the week.
First is a rich soy tonkotsu ($29) with pork chashu, soft egg and a touch of yuzu; a spicy miso version built on house-made tare and gochujang ($30); and lastly, an aburamen—a soupless style tossed with chicken oil and topped with sukiyaki wagyu ($30).
This offer is here to stay, so there's no rush to get to down there—but between us, we've already booked in for this weekend.

White Rabbit Gallery is a favourite amongst Sydney's artists, noteworthy for being one of the most significant collections of Chinese contemporary art worldwide. True to form, White Rabbit is currently hosting the Tender Comrade exhibition, which delves into the ancient queer Chinese history that is too often forgotten. Henley's Rock Revival Saturdays

Henley's is cranking the volume all the way up every Saturday with Rock Revival—a weekly live music event that's all about band culture and loud guitars. From 9pm until late, it's a non-stop lineup of punk, rock, indie and high-volt party bands taking on the stage.

Since their recent opening in Balmain, Elliott's have been curating a live music program that takes full advantage of the Inner West's recently relaxed music laws—and things are getting loud this weekend. The courtyard hosts a rotating lineup of vinyl DJs and live soul, funk and blues sets every weekend, curated by Jordan McDonald (NITE-RITE Entertainment).
This Saturday from 2.30pm to 5pm, you can expect a groovy set from Boomerang—think rare grooves, funk cuts and soulful classics to get the courtyard buzzing. The vibes will be staying high afterwards, with DJ Gonz to follow once Boomerang wraps up. Finishing off the weekend is Midnight Siren, with dangerously good beats playing from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday.

Mary's VX has launched an epic brunch and bottomless menu for an ideal weekend feed. Co-founder Jake Smyth reckons this is one "worth crossing town on the Metro for"—sky-high pancake stacks, brekkie burgers, unlimited spicy pickle margaritas (don't knock them until you've tried them) and bottomless filter coffee to keep the old man going. The bottomless menu comes in at a pretty $55 per person, or you can keep things breezy and order à la carte.

There's certainly no fast-track to a luxury lifestyle, but Bennelong is doing its best—this $50pp experience speed-runs sophistication in a 45-minute session, offering three refined bar snacks and a signature cocktail. Ideal for those needing a quick pre-theatre snack or just short of time, the dishes are drawn from Bennelong's pre-existing menu—Maremma duck pithivier with black garlic; Wagyu bresaola panisse, brown butter aioli; Chestnut, truffle and shiitake arancini; and much more. Head in from 5.30pm onwards, and you can experience the best seat in the harbour for a palatable price.

The immersive 60-90 minute experience brings to life 34 of Michelangelo’s frescoes, including The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment, in true-to-size, high-definition reproductions.

Premium Japanese beverage house Suntory is taking over Prefecture 48’s Whisky Thief for a three-month-long stint of Tokyo-level cocktails and elevated malts, alongside exclusive snacks by legendary chef Tetsuya Wakuda—marking the first chance to taste Tetsuya’s cooking since the closure of his eponymous Sydney CBD restaurant in July 2024.
Try a botanical Roku G&T, an ‘80s-style Japanese Slipper starring Suntory’s Midori melon liqueur, and the hero serve: a refreshing Hakushu Highball, made with crisp Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve whisky from the highest distillery in the world, paired with soda and fresh mint.
The Book of Mormon

Labelled “the best musical of this century” by the New York Times, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy award-winning musical-comedy, The Book Of Mormon, has returned to Sydney at the Capitol Theatre.
If you’re not familiar with the plot of this smash-hit, it follows two young mismatched Mormon missionaries as they aim to spread the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to a remote village in Uganda, which quickly unfolds with hilarious improvisations and satirical sing-a-longs. Tickets start at $99, plus a booking fee.
RELICS: A New World Rises

Created by LEGO® Masters winners Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler, RELICS: A New World Rises is an immersive exhibition at the Australian Museum showcasing 14 mini LEGO® worlds inside vintage objects. Think lively LEGO® towns inside an antique piano, and newsroom scenes in old TVs.
Running until 27 January 2026, the exhibition also has an interactive build area, custom scavenger hunts and audio guides. Tickets are $29 for adults, $25 for concessions, $19 for children aged 4-15, and free for children aged 0-3 and Australian Museum members.
