That means, these legends are hosting a dinner party with three set menus starting at just $40. Did we mention there will be unlimited wine flowing for two hours? Yep, it’s true. The Jungle Collective Sale

The plant sale to end all plant sales is coming to Sydney this weekend so prepare yourselves, people. The Jungle Collective has packed up the truck and is heading to a secret location to teach us a thing or two about indoor plants. The price tags won’t break your bank but they will make your place look luuuusshhh AF, and don’t worry, even serial plant killers (guilty) are invited. They’ll even set you up with a horticulturist to share advice for your new green pet. Pro tip: Chuck on your best tropical print (we know you own one) and you’ll get $5 off your purchase. More details here

Where: Secret Location
Cost: plant costs vary

Yoga & Wine

Handpicked Wines is inviting you to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dog by doing your own downward dog at a free yoga class. With wine. In our humble opinion, every exertion of physical activity should be rewarded with wine afterwards and we know you agree. Right after getting your zen on, you’ll wine(d) down with a cheeky $10 wine tasting courtesy of the on-site sommelier. Yoga + wine = balance at it’s finest. Book here

When: Saturday February 17th 4pm-6pm
Where:  Handpicked Cellar Door - 50 Kensington Street Chippendale NSW 2008

Pack your picnic rugs, a cheese platter and some vino because Tropfest is back this year and we’re excited. Celebrating independent film and culture, Tropfest is going to rock your socks with a huge number of entries that will have you laughing, crying and certainly feeling the feels.

Sing-A-Long Sound Of Music

Sydney’s alivvvvve, with the Sound of Muuuusic! Ok, we’ll stop. But If you’re like us and have watched the sound of music roughly 17 million times and know every single song back to front, then why not put your (clearly wasted) skills to good use. This one will have you belting out your fave songs from the iconic movie and there are prizes for best dressed (just saying). Details here

You’ll stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens which will be packed with produce stalls, cooking demonstrations, free guided tours, kids activities and our favorite part—tastings. The Tomato Degustation Brunch is also a must, with tomato-inspired dishes and a 70-metre-long table. Yep, they’re taking long lunch to the next level. All the pastas, salads, pizzas, and sauces would be nothing without these juicy red balls of love, so go support our local artisans and stuff yourself silly. More details here

Where:  Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
Cost: Entry is free, some ticketed events

Sunday 18 February

Nitro Martini Trolley

Eau De Vie is the 1920s speakeasy-inspired cocktail bar nestled at the back the Kirketon Hotel and they’ve got a Star of Bombay Gin nitro martini trolley happening RN. Each cocktail on the trolley has been inspired by a drink from history—think a twist on the hanky panky cocktail from The Savoy Hotel of 1903 and a classic inspired by the iconic Bond series and The Dukes Hotel in London. Each cocktail will be served up straight to you from the trolley and will be infused with the botanical goodness of Bombay. So tuck yourself into a corner, sit back, take a sip, and enjoy the show.

When: Daily, as per Eau De Vie opening hours
Where: Eau De Vie, 225 Darlinghurst Rd Sydney
Cost: $24 for one martini, trolley service sample board of four martinis for $50.
