Contributor | Urban List Melbourne

Stephanie Caite Chadwick is a Melbourne-based journalist who’s come full circle, starting her media career as an Urban List intern before returning as a contributor with a sharpened eye and a serious retail obsession. These days, she covers the retail industry full-time for a business publication, but let’s be honest, it’s less a 'beat' and more a lifelong hyperfixation.

A long-time Melbourne local, she takes her coffee seriously (large oat latte, always) but refuses to pledge allegiance to any one cafe—there are simply too many worth rotating through. The same logic applies to her wine order: red, ideally, but whether it’s a no-fuss pub pour or a questionably priced shiraz at a wine bar depends entirely on the mood.

Offline, she’s a die-hard physical media loyalist who still lugs magazines around like it’s 2007. Online, her screen time tells a different story—one she’d prefer not to disclose. She avoids small talk where possible, unless it’s about Melbourne’s weather, which she firmly believes is both a personality trait and a daily itinerary.
