Oktoberfest Bash At The Barvarian
Fellas pull on your lederhosen and ladies grab your dirndl because it’s time to celebrate one of the biggest drinking events of the year, Oktoberfest. The gang at The Barvarian are throwing a bash worthy of a beer hall in Munich with German tunes and famous brews from the OG festival inlcuding Hofbräu München Oktoberfestbier and Löwenbräu being poured all weekend long. Food-wise you can choose between a three and four course menus or really go all out and get the shared feast. Prost!

Energies Showcase
This stunning exhibition showcases the artwork of talented secondary schools across the Coast. Running for over 30 years, the exhibition has helped launch the careers of uber-talented GC artists like Rebecca Ross and Michael Candy. The showcase explores issues such as body image, sexuality, environmental awareness and consumerism and is absolutely one for the calendar.

Fright Night At Movie World
If having the life scared out of you is your idea of a good time, then you’ll want to make your way to Movie World. Kicking off this weekend and lasting the whole of October, Fright Nights are the perfect spooky night out. There are terrifying mazes, panic rooms, scare precincts, live music and a ton of terrifying performers lurking around ready to scare the shiz out of you.

Rainbow Revolution At Miami Marketta
Nine Lives Bazaar are throwing a seriously rad shindig to celebrate the launch of their next collection, Rainbow Revolution. The evening will be a celebration of freedom, expression and love baby! As well as plenty of surprises on the night, you can expect 70s surf rock beats, interactive art mural, body paint stations and much more. And because it’s held at Miami Marketta there will of course be beer, cider and cocktails aplenty.

Cheese Feast And Bottomless Wine At Salt Meats Cheese
Name a more iconic duo than cheese and wine? Hint, there isn’t one. And the crew at Salt Meats Cheese know this too so they’re celebrating with three hours of unlimited indulgence. For $39 per person you can gorge on a cheese inspired feast, and for an extra $29 you can wash it all down with non-stop red, white or prosecco. GF peeps for an extra fiver you can chow down too.

Rainbow Festival At NightQuarter
Calling all unicorn, glitter and rainbow enthusiasts, this festival is for you. We’re talking a line-up of the prettiest, most delicious eats on the Coast including rainbow unicorn cupcakes, cheese toasties, unicorn poop fudge, even rainbow margaritas. If rainbow isn’t really your thing, or you’ve simply had your fill, the rest of the NightQuarter will be open and serving up your fave treats so it’s a win all round.

Rooftop Super Sessions At The Island
Is there anything better than an awesome Sunday session when you know you don’t have to get up for work the next day? Grab your gang and head to the rooftop at The Island for a huge line up of DJs and bands including the Hanlon Brothers and Jamie Porteous. You’ll be feed and watered with killer cocktails and Corona buckets on offer as well as delicious eats.
