The rooms are simple but stunning, the communal space is homely (but much nicer than your actual home, face it) and if you don't want to go out to eat, there's a restaurant and bar there. Fab.

If you're looking for a high performance pilates studio that offers group and private sessions, then head to Cardea Pilates in Claremont. Although physical improvements are the base goal in Pilates, Cardea is measuring success with their clients by their ability to help them in becoming the most confident, empowered and positive version of themselves—sounds good to us. Located at the back of the Blue Duck, The Gangway Bar in Cottesloe is the place to be for relaxed drinks in Perth. Pop in and grab one of their delicious salads or a slice of cake and try to resist buying all the sauces and spreads that line the walls. You can also grab a loaf of bread or a bunch of flowers, so why not treat yourself to both? These guys are also master caterers—they do everything from homemade meals and breakfasts to dessert tables, grazing tables and custom cakes.
Dogtown Beerfood
While Dogtown doesn't necessarily sound like the most appealing spot for a bite to eat, Dogtown Beerfood in Mount Lawley dishes out epic burgers and brews from WA's own Feral Brewery. They also do fried chicken and tacos—beer food at its very best.
77 Social
It's no secret that everyone in Perth loves a rooftop bar, so you'll want to check out 77 Social ASAP. Sitting pretty on St Georges Terrace, 77 Social offers some sweet views of the terrace, but you'll probably be sidetracked by the super cute interiors downstairs tbh. Open from 6am weekdays, there are milkbar vibes with lots of neon pink and plenty of coffee to caffeinate the people of Perth, not to mention some delish breakfasts. But once the afternoon hits, you'll want to head upstairs to sit on the rooftop with a cocktail in hand, and maybe a burger too.
Psychomug
Pyschomug in Subiaco is brewing up some seriously Insta-worthy coffee, and it's actually pretty delicious too. Their charcoal killer latte is black and served in a skull-shaped glass—word on the street is that charcoal is a natural detoxifier, but let's be honest, we're just ordering it for the novelty factor. They also have coffee in a cone in case you're yet to give that a whirl. The team at Psychomug dish up some impressive breakfasts and their regular coffees hit the spot every time—so not to worry if you can't bring yourself to order a charcoal latte.
Hoki Poké
Poké bowls are starting to take over Perth and Hoki Poké in Leederville is definitely one to watch out for. Serving only the freshest seafood available in WA, poké bowls are a delicious and healthy way to satisfy those taste buds.You can also pair your bowl with a selection of refreshing drinks like kombucha, pressed juices, cold brew or smoothies! And for all you lazy ones out there, Hoki Poké are also on UberEATS and deliveroo—how good!

Bike Bar in Claremont is all about indoor cycling, but if you're imagining your standard gym spin class you're way off! After returning home from a stint in NYC—home to the world famous Soul Cycle—the couple behind Bike Bar decided Perth's cycling scene needed a little more oomph and Bike Bar was born.
La Vida Urbana
From the legends that brought us El Publico, La Vida Urbana brings tasty Mexican eats with a slightly more casual vibe to Leederville. Open every night until late, you're in for a whole lot of scrumptious street eats. Our hot tip: order the nachos. But the best bit? You're welcome to just drop in for a drink anytime. Margarita anyone? The Feed Me menu has to be one of the most affordable in Perth. At $39 you'll get four courses of the most popular dishes, including dessert. It's a no brainer.
Little Way
A welcome addition to the Nedlands dining scene, Little Way is the perfect place to drop in for a coffee, wine or a bite at any time of the day. The lush outdoor area and gorgeous interior perfectly complements an equally gorgeous menu that runs the gamut from brekky items like baklava French toast and eton mess hotcakes to a Mediterranean influenced lunch and dinner menu offering tasty dishes like beef cheek ragu, roasted cauliflower and halloumi fritters and healthy salad bowls.
Honey Creme
Ice cream sensation Honey Creme has taken the world by storm and Perth has been lucky enough to get the first store in Australia. Made with fresh local milk and sweetened with organic local honey, Honey Creme is certainly not your average soft serve ice cream.
Loving Hut
For all your vegan needs, head to Loving Hut in Victoria Park. A vegan cafe and mini mart, Loving Hut offers plenty of delicious eats like handmade pies, quiches, burgers and lasagne, not to mention the doughnuts, scrolls, cheesecakes, caramel slices and raw desserts—yum! But we haven't even told you the best part yet. These guys are the first ever shop in Perth to make and sell vegan soft serve ice cream! It's coconut based (read: delicious) and they use it to make sundaes and frappes too. You can also get loads of vegan goodies for your pantry and vegan dog food for your pooch!
Peace’za
Vegans of Perth, we've found a vegan pizza place in East Victoria Park and it's very aptly named Peace'za. All the pizza bases are handmade and stretched, with over 10 flavours including vegan versions of classics like Hawaiian and pepperoni. But it doesn't stop there. They also do a salted caramel dessert pizza and our mouths are watering already! There's limited seating available but don't worry, you can get these bad boys to takeaway!
Kishi Sushi Bar
Kishi Sushi Bar in Kalamunda is where it's at if you're looking for authentic Japanese in the Perth Hills. They've got everything from sashimi and takoyaki to bento boxes and donburi bowls, and it's all fresh and cooked with a whole lotta love. After you've polished off your main, finish up with a green tea or black sesame seed ice cream, both served with genji biscuits. Dee-licious!
Fromage Artisans
For all things cheese, Fromage Artisans on St Georges Terrace is the place to go. Think cheese flights, cheese boards, cheese dessert, and even classic cheese toasties, all paired with wine of course. The team here also lets you purchase cheese to take home and they have a cheese club so you can get the good stuff delivered straight to your door. Fromage also hosts a variety of masterclasses throughout the year, but be sure to book in quick as they are known to sell out.
The Toastery
The Toastery in Subiaco is dishing out toasted sandwiches that will make your mouth water. They’ve got everything from the classics like ham and triple cheese or Vegemite and cheese to their Seven Samurai—miso buttered corn, roast chicken, triple cheese and sriracha mayo. Yum.
Tamarind Cambodian Asian Cuisine
There’s not a lot of Cambodian cuisine going around in Perth, which is why we’re SO happy Tamarind popped up in Mount Hawthorn. Grab some roti with peanut sauce while you peruse the lengthy menu.
Mokaffe
Mount Hawthorn's Mokaffe has taken hold of our hearts and taste buds. Small batch coffee roasters and craft chocolatiers, this Italian cafe makes everything in house with only the best ingredients. Choosing between their spiced hot chocolate with chilli and cinnamon and their 72 percent couverture hazelnut mokacino (pretty much Nutella coffee) is a very difficult task, as is making a selection from their delectable cake display. We love their custard filo in soufra and the dark chocolate espresso fudge, and you simply cannot leave without picking up a bar of their hazelnut chocolate torrone (a traditional Italian Christmas delicacy, available year-round) and some of their cioccalatini truffles.
Fumi Sushi
Serving super fresh sushi and other ricey eats, Fumi Sushi is the hot ticket to Japanese heaven in Mount Hawthorn—fumi means flavour in Japanese, after all. Dine in or take away, the guys here also have your party needs sorted with giant sushi platters available to order.
Missy Moo’s Gourmet Burger Bar
Burgers and nursery rhymes go hand in hand at Missy Moo’s Gourmet Burger Bar. Made with love and a whole lot of primo local ingredients, our favourites include The Cow Jumped Over The Moon—beef patty with melted blue cheese, prosciutto, lettuce, Missy Moo’s relish and aioli—and the Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater—spicy pumpkin patty, chilli jam, relish, aioli, lettuce, beetroot and tomato.
Mt Hawthorn Fish And Chips
Secret menus, a salt and vinegar bar and some of the best fish and chips is what’s served up at Mt Hawthorn Fish & Chips. Everything on the salt and vinegar bar is made in-house, and you can choose from flavours like spiced mixed chilli salt, super lemon, chicken salt, brown malt vinegar, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. And launching at the end of September the guys will be cooking up deep-fried Oreos coated in cinnamon sugar (they taste like Oreos wrapped in a doughnut), but if you ask nicely, they’ll whip them up for you anytime.
Little B
Get the Thai street food experience right here in Perth by heading to Little B in Beaux Lane in Mount Lawley. From traditional eats like pad thai and tom yum soup to Thai with a twist—think red curry burgers and Thai basil burgers—you'll want to try everything. Just don't miss the massaman lamb shank! Oh, and the best part? It's BYO.
3230 Smoke And Grill
Attention south-siders—you lucky devils—a BBQ, fried chicken and burger joint called 3230 Smoke and Grill has opened in Jandakot. Think smoked beef ribs, brisket, fried chicken, pulled pork and burgers (our mouths are drooling already). But the deliciousness doesn't stop there. They also have BBQ platters, mac 'n' cheese, fries and fried chicken burgers. Need we say anymore?
Frankly My Dog
If you're someone who loves their hot dogs absolutely loaded with piles of toppings, then head to Frankly My Dog at Hillarys Boat Harbour.
Hunter & Barrel
After a whole lot of success on the east coast, Hunter & Barrel decided to open in Whitford City's epic dining precinct and boy are we glad they did. The menu is all about meats cooked low and slow, as well as barrel-aged bevvies. Bring your best bro and order the King’s Feast which will get you some lemon myrtle chicken, roast lamb shoulder, farmer’s sausages, grilled squid, thick cut chips, chopped green salad and grilled flatbread. Can we get a fist bump?

Acai bowls have taken over almost every healthy cafe in Perth, and now you can get them from The Acai Corner food truck at the South Perth foreshore. Just by Mends Street Jetty, The Acai Corner specialises in acai bowls, homemade granola, fresh juices, healthy treats and more—yum! Choose from a natural or sweetened acai bowl, and don't worry, if you don't know the difference, the team will talk you through it! Satisfy your taste buds while relaxing on one of their bean bags or deck chairs while over looking our beautiful city. What more could you want?
