It's True! Good Bar Is Now Open For Breakfast

Mooloolaba is back in the game in a big way and one of those pulling their weight in coolness is First Avenue’s Good Bar.

Most of you have probably ached for one of their burgers, proven your smarts at their epic trivia nights, or sipped on a spiffy cocktail while soaking in the old-school hip hop vibes. Chances are, you’ve even thought about what kind of magic would happen if Good Bar and “morning” came together.

Well, wonder no more, folks! Because Good Bar is now open for breakfast! As of yesterday, this American food joint is pumping out stiff coffees alongside an “I want everything” menu that’ll get you out of bed with or without (but especially with) a hangover.

Long-time favourites like eggs benny, smashed avocado on sourdough, and waffles are waiting those who like their brekkie dishes tried and true. And for those that aren’t so predictable, you can tip your breakfast experiences on their arse with dishes like This Little Piggy—pancakes with crispy bacon wedged INSIDE, not on top, served with maple syrup and icing sugar. Or, French toast bites AKA The Gallic Salute, which are basically perfect morsels of fluffy French toast, coated with cinnamon sugar, and plated with a side of maple syrup (these guys like their syrup) and whipped butter. Ummm, we’re salivating just thinking about it all. #breakfastporn

Timed with the breakfast launch is the unveiling of a fresh outdoor seating area, kitted out with wooden communal tables perfect for those giant hangover feeds and debriefs about what actually happened last night.

From now on the Good Bar crew will be throwing open their doors at 7am, Tuesday right through to Sunday, and we’ve no doubt in our French Toast Bites-craving minds, that they’ll swiftly be joining the ranks of the best breakfasts in Mooloolaba.

So whether you’re after a workday feed or a weekend binge, these guys have your back, and stomachs, and tastebuds covered. So, go and say hello and tell ‘em we sent you!
