Petition Kitchen Lunch and Dinner

If the concept of private dining on Christmas doesn’t appeal, surround yourself with the joyful chatter and cheersing glasses at the Petition Kitchen restaurant. The tables are full, the lights are soft, and the staff are always smiling, and this year they’re providing us with the option of lunch or dinner on the big day, with a selection of vibrant dishes from local produce that we can never resist.

The three-course à la carte lunch and dinner menu features share entrée plates of duck rillette, tuna tataki and roast veggies with short bread, a choice of mains including turkey roulade, market fish or lamb rump, and an impossible choice of desserts including lemon pie trifle, Baileys and caramel chocolate mousse cake, or a classic Christmas pudding. There will also be optional starters of oysters or prawns for an extra $26, really fitting that Aussie Christmas food stereotype.

They’re ready to spoil you with dishes like pink snapper ceviche with strawberry and mint, terrine de maison, seasonal legumes, and even a whole roast duck (with accompaniments, naturally). Part of the dining furniture in Perth, The Raffles Hotel has been sitting proudly on Canning Highway for generations.
