The breakfast dishes of breakfast dishes, Mr Benedict earns lashings of praise every time we demolish a super tasty version of eggs benedict with juuuussst the right amount of hollandaise.
Sure, you can make it at home if you’re a kitchen whizz, but really, it always goes down better followed by a barista-made coffee sitting in the sun at one of the Coast’s best cafes.

Decisions know how to make just about anything, and they do it all way above par. So it’s really no surprise that their version of eggs benedict knocks others out of the park. Layered on organic ciabatta (so light and fluffy), you’ll find ham-off-the-bone, free range poachies, and creamy hollandaise, all served in a cute mini oven tray. The Velo Project knows we’ve all got different eggs benny cravings, so instead of one option, they’ve got THREE versions at the ready. Take your pick between a perfectly poached pair of eggs saddled up next to bacon, salmon, or herb-roasted mushrooms and avo, and drizzled with velvety hollandaise. We’re licking our lips just thinking about it! And it’s safe to say we’re not alone, with plenty of regulars backing our claim that these guys serve some of the best eggs benedict on the Sunshine Coast.

Laidback Mudjimba holds within its grasp some of the best morning feeds on the coast, but like many breakfast fiends we have trouble moving past a tried and true classic, like eggs benny. So, while there are other tasty combos on the High Tide menu—think: thick-cut smoked bacon, beetroot relish, poached eggs, ham and parmesan croquettes—we find it impossible to ignore a lovingly-concocted dish of eggs and Champagne leg ham piled atop toasted sourdough, and then dripped with homemade hollandaise. The original eggs benedict that never disappoints.

Go the whole hog and add a housemade hash brown (remember to say housemade, as there’s also your standard hash browns on the menu), and you won’t want to move from this riverside perch for the rest of the day.
